The love of God (Allah) replaces love for any other material thing

God (Allah) demands that man worship only Him and not associate anything with Him. Man has been commanded to obey Him by following the guidance they have received from Him through divine revelations through the Prophets He has sent. According to Muslim belief, the source of all love is the one true God (Allah). Who necessarily exists, by Himself, encompassing all the excellent Divine Attributes of perfection. God (Allah) is one and only. He has no partner, he has no equal. He does not beget nor was he begotten. He is not inherent in anything. Nothing is inherent in Him. He is the sole Creator and Sustainer of all that exists.

Divine revelations are messages from God (Allah) sent through the Prophets. These revelations have given mankind a detailed description of the qualities and attributes of God (Allah) in whom man must believe and whom he must serve and worship. In addition, divine revelations also contain the code of life on which the well-being of people in this life depends. Some of the existing revealed books are the Torah (The Pentateuch, or the first five books of the Old Testament), which was revealed to Musa (Moses); Zabur (The Psalms), revealed to Daa ‘uud (David); injil (The New Testament), revealed to Isaac (Jesus); and finally, the Koran (Quran), revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him and all other prophets before him).

The God of Islam, Allah, Glorified be He, is neither remote nor abstract. He is the true Lord of the Universe, whose love swells hearts and intoxicates souls. Those who seek him do not have to rely on the vicarious conviction of a priest, or on arguments from the books, to assure them that he exists. They can feel the existence of it in themselves, as well as in the animate and inanimate objects around them. And this is not the prerogative of the ‘spiritualist’, any layman who follows his guidance and seeks his presence will find him close to himself.

Surely, God’s love does not occur in a vacuum. it arises due to a keen observation and reflection of the creation around us and on us. A vivid reminder in the Holy Quran is:

“They are not visible

on camels,

How are they created?

And in heaven

How is it raised?

and the mountains,

How are they fixed?

And on Earth,

How does it spread?” (Quran, chapter 88, verses 17-21).

In these verses, the first to be mentioned is the domesticated animal, which for the Arabs who live in the desert is the camel. The camel can store water in its stomach for days. It can live in dry, thorny bushes in the desert. Its members are adopted into his life. It can transport men and goods. Its meat can be eaten. Camel hair can be used for weaving. Most of all, he is so gentle!

The second thing to which man’s attention is drawn is the noble blue vault high above us, containing the sun and moon, stars and planets, and other celestial bodies as yet unknown to mankind. This scene is full of beauty and magnificence; design and order; simplicity and mystery. And yet we receive our light and heat from the sun, and what would our physical life be without these influences coming from such vast distances? From the everyday usefulness and affection on the camel, to the usefulness and greatness in the skies above us, we have two instances that affect our social life.

In the third case, which is the Mountains, we come to the utility of humanity in general in the services that the Mountains perform in the storage of water, in the moderation of the climate, and in various other ways that is the business of Physical Geography. to investigate and describe.

The fourth and final example given is that of the Earth as a whole: the habitation of humanity. The Earth is a globe, but how wonderfully it appears to be spread out before us in plains, valleys, hills, deserts, seas, etc. Can man, seeing all this, fail to see a plan and a purpose in his life? Stop loving God and turn to this Great Creator?
