See mesmerizing magic shows while staying in villas in Marrakech

While holidays in Morocco at any time of the year can be a magical experience, staying in a villa in Marrakech in March can be particularly enchanting.

That’s because the annual Marrakech International Magic Festival takes place during the month with the world’s top magicians and illusionists descending on the North African city to perform.

Spanning four days, you should find that the variety of acts on display during the festival leaves you spellbound!

Stars from Monte Carlo, Las Vegas and Beijing, as well as local magicians, come to town to show off their skills. If you want to see some of the biggest names in the business do their thing, staying in a villa in Morocco could mean you’re in the perfect place to do it.

However, the festival is also a platform for lesser-known acts. Who knows, you might see the next David Copperfield, Derren Brown or David Blaine perform!

You’ll find that most of the event’s biggest shows take place at the Teatro Real, so if there’s something you really want to see here, you might be advised to try and book in advance.

The Palais des Congres and Jamma El Fna square are just some of the other places where you can see captivating performances, while there will also be street magicians performing feats of trickery.

No matter where you end up watching the magicians and illusionists perform, you could be part of the routine, as they often call members of the audience up on stage for help. But just because you helped them in their act doesn’t mean you’ll find out how they were able to do it. Magicians don’t tend to reveal the mastery behind their tricks.

The fascinating shows during the March festival really have to be seen to be believed.

Once the evening show is over, head back to your Moroccan villas where you can kick back and relax in comfortable surroundings before watching some more captivating performances the next day. Visiting the Morocco International Magic Festival is sure to leave you enthralled and in awe.
