Overcome 4 obstacles to a positive attitude

There are four obstacles that stand in the way of a positive attitude. They are fear, worry, anger and doubt. Whenever things don’t go as planned, our immediate response is to become fearful.

We as people struggle with the fear of loss. We are afraid of losing our money or wasting too much of our effort on something. We are so afraid of losing our emotional and sometimes physical investment in what we have done. The fear of loss. Personal development teaches us that we will get what we think about most, at this point we are now thinking about our potential losses instead of focusing on our potential gains.

This is how fear operates. Fear will trigger worry to the point where we start using our imagination to create all kinds of negative images, which will cause a lot of unhappiness that will prevent us from acting effectively.

Fear and worry create anger. So instead of moving in the direction of our dreams, we respond, react, and start playing the blame game. We blame others, as well as circumstances, for our problems or challenges.

All these negative emotions now become fertile ground for doubt. To remove these negative obstacles and move to positive thinking, it is essential that the emotion of doubt is weakened.

How in the world does one do that, you may ask?

This may surprise you, but the only antidote to the emotions of fear, worry, and doubt is to take positive action toward some worthwhile goal. We must focus our minds and concentrate on one thing at a time.

Successful people always consciously choose to think about what they want instead of the things they don’t want. This means that successful people repeatedly take action to achieve their goals and don’t think or worry about the obstacles they are bound to face.

To ensure that you succeed in whatever you strive for, you must first overcome the four negative obstacles of fear, worry, anger, and doubt that tend to get in the way of staying positive. Focus on remembering the successful passes, stay focused and keep that winning attitude.
