Long distance offroad racing and driving

ATVs are a burst of adrenaline and excitement. Just go full throttle and then send a list tail behind you as you cut sideways and then shoot off in another direction at full speed. Jumping is fun too and often you just have to go back and do it over and over again to be filled with the rush of energy and the feeling of leaving the ground and flying through the air. In fact, ATVs are some of the most fun toys to come along in decades, and yet sometimes ATV drivers and owners want something a little more.

For example, they want to go somewhere on an all-terrain vehicle. Long distance ATV rides are a lot of fun and if you have a wilderness area with wide trails they can be a lot of fun. Many of those areas are restricted to motorized vehicles of this type, some even no longer allow mountain bikes because they scare hikers, horseback riders, and runners on the trails.

Once you find a trail that is available for ATVs and is 35-50 miles, it will be the ideal long-distance ride. The most fun trails are those with caution and warning signs about the steep and dangerous terrain. Those are the ones you want to aim for because they will be full of emotion. But there are a few things you could consider;

  1. Do not go alone
  2. Fill your gas tank completely before leaving
  3. Carry GPS and Cellular Unit
  4. Wear the right gear
  5. Please do not leave later than 11:00 am due to sunset issues

As long as you do those things, you’ll be able to experience the true joy of an ATV ride all day long, even if the terrain is top-skill. If you’re not sure about something, slow down and be careful until you gain the confidence and skill level to really break through. Well I made it to Boggie Smoggie. See you!
