Chinese Traditional Food – Chow Mein

Noodles are very popular in China. Chow mein is one of the most famous Chinese foods in the world. It is easy to cook and can be cooked in many methods. In this article, I would like to offer you two of them.

The first method is shown below:

Chinese noodles, egg, shredded beef, spring bok choy, green onion wedges, chives, monosodium glutamate, dark soy sauce

Cooking procedure:

1: Put the noodles in the pot with boiling water and boil for several minutes. Then remove and rinse with cold water; Tips: Add some salt and salad oil when it boils so that the noodles won’t stick together easily.

2: Heat the pot, for a little oil and spread it in the bottom of the pot. Add the egg, then remove from the pot when done.

3: Add sections of green onion, bok choy, chives, shredded beef, and sauté all together. Then put them into the boiled noodles and stir-fry them together for a short time.

4: Then use the chopsticks (if possible) to separate the noodles. Add the boiled egg, onion and sauté for several minutes. It does.

Next, I would like to introduce you another method:

Chinese noodles, onion, mushrooms, hammerhead, bacon, cabbage, dried chilies, chili sauce, soy sauce, egg, caraway

Cooking procedure:

1. Cut all ingredients into small pieces, and the size of a finger joint is preferred.

2. Boil the noodles, then remove and rinse them under cold water.

3. For a little salad oil in the pot; add onion pieces until golden. Add the mushrooms.

4. When the mushrooms start to shrink, add the hammer bits and bacon. Stir fry them for a while, then add the cabbage.

5. When the water comes out of the cabbage, stir it several times. If you think that the oil is not enough; you can add a little oil again to prevent everything from sticking in the pot.

6. Add the noodles and dried chilies or chili sauce on them.

7. Add salt, soy sauce, at the same time, always stir the noodles.

8. Pour the egg liquid into the pot and it will stick with the noodles, and then stir often. This dish is done. It is preferable to add a little chopped chives.

There are still many other methods of cooking chow mein. Keep in mind that you should always prevent the noodles from sticking to the pot.
