You might think this is totally weird, but some of our mutual friends and I have been talking about you, the kind of movies you like to watch, and the kind of movie outings you find most intriguing. We really want to ask you a question: can we guess which movies playing near me you’ll love?

Yeah, that sounds a little weird, but hear me out. Really, what we want to do is play a game where our friends and I cuddle up for a while and try to figure out which movies playing at the theater closest to me (since we’re here at my house) are the ones that really you will find amazing. Part of the reason is that we love you and truly want the best for you. Every time he comes to us with a new review of a movie, we’re on the edge of our seats wondering if he really liked it and if it’s worth seeing by any of us. Also, and full disclosure, we’re hoping that if we can figure out what movies this side of town you’d watch, maybe you’ll come more often.

Granted, it’s an odd way of asking them to come out and hang out with us on a much more regular basis, but it’s our quirkiness that made our motley little bunch such good friends in the first place, right? So, as I mentioned, we thought about it and we think we’ve found some movie options that you’re sure to love.

ready player one – Virtual reality, a society in chaos seeking order in a virtual reality simulator, a nostalgic journey through the fandom culture of one of the greatest directors of all time? I know you read and loved the book, so why not check out the movie?

Black Panther – So, we’ve seen it a few times, and while there are a number of socially relevant elements in this movie, it’s also a really fantastic movie that stands above a lot of other superhero movies.

A peaceful place – Scary movies are a lot of fun, even if they annoy you. This one packs a punch with suspense, it’s already considered a modern classic and nothing beats a horror movie on the big screen.

rampage – CGI, a muscular hero main character, and a heartfelt story to go with it? This movie has it all and will remind you of a certain old school classic movie about apes from the golden age of Hollywood.

As you can see, the movies playing near me really have a lot to offer a movie buff like you. There’s a little bit of everything for whatever mood or genre stands out the most to you. Also, I have this great dinner theater right down the street that not only has first-run movies on a regular basis, but also serves you legitimate food during the movies. Impressive, right? Now prepare to be blown away because wait for it – they actually brew their own beer on the premises and have won major awards for quality, plus they can serve it with your food! Once again, we all could have asked you to go out more often, but now you have a totally awesome reason to spend a night with all of us. So, what do you say?
