Digital Marketing

The only proven and effective way to get your articles read

A long time ago, writing articles became a popular way to make a living, yet many people still struggle to do so. That’s because the easy part is writing the articles. The next bit is harder, and that’s getting people to read them. And if your articles don’t get read, then you won’t make any money.

It doesn’t matter if you are writing articles for your own blog to earn money, or if you are writing articles for clients or to publish in magazines. If nobody wants to read them, you better not even bother writing them.

So how do you make sure people read your articles from start to finish?

Start with a curiosity-invoking headline to grab readers’ attention. But that is still not enough. They have to want to finish reading your articles once they start.

So what you need to do is become the person they can trust to write the articles they want to read, so that every time they see something you’ve written, they don’t just want to read it, they’re looking forward to it.

And the way to do that is to just write things down so you don’t have to think.

The late, great redactor Eugene Schwartz put it this way: “Write on the brain of the chimpanzee.”

What this means is that readers want to learn something by reading our articles, but they don’t want to have to try to figure out what that is. They want you to tell them as simply as possible so that the information is easy to read and understand because they can’t ask questions if they don’t understand something.

So keep it simple. Don’t use big words or long sentences. And I’ve found that one of the easiest ways to do this is to type fast, because this forces me to type as I speak, or more accurately, to type as I think because it doesn’t give me time to guess. yourself or try to think of big words.

We are usually much clearer on what we are trying to convey when we talk to someone rather than write to them.

So write quickly and write your articles while the most difficult ones are clear in your mind.

This technique has worked for successful writers and marketers all over the world.

And it can work for you too.
