How to make WoW Gold during Hallow’s End

Every year for two weeks at the end of October, the citizens of Azeroth celebrate Hallow’s End. For the World of Warcraft player, this is a festive time of spooky fun that includes dressing up in costumes, trick-or-treating, and eating candy. Events like the terrifying Wickerman Festival and the fiendish Headless Horseman contribute to making this one of the most popular WoW world events.

So how can you make a lot of gold with Hallow’s End?

Tip No. # 1: load up gold to transform players

As with most world events, if you search hard enough, you can find ingenious ways to capitalize on them. One of these methods has to do with capitalizing on the ever popular WoW Achievement system. Since Hallow’s End is an integral part of this system, players will want to complete each of them.

For this golden tip, the achievement in question is called: The Masquerade. To complete this achievement, the player must transform into the following 7 forms:

  • Bat
  • Ghost
  • Leper gnome
  • Ninja
  • Pirate
  • Skeleton
  • Shred

Is that how it works:

Once an hour he can “trick or treat” any innkeeper; They are NPCs found in most cities and towns. The trick turns you into something creepy or funny like a pirate or a ghost. However, the “treat” gives you a bag that sometimes includes holy wands that turn your groupmates into various forms (listed above). If you’re lucky, these tread bags contain some highly sought after rare items, like the Sinister Squashling toilet mascot and the Hallowed Helm that turns its head into a pumpkin.

Enterprising players are charging 5-10 gold to transform other players into these forms. Since players are desperate to complete their achievement, they will gladly pay people with these wishes to transform them.

Just let other players know what wands you have and set a price to cast them. Once they agree, you will have to group with them and have them physically present to transform them. This tip is so easy that even a level one player can do it.

To reach the widest audience on your server, it’s best to advertise Hallow’s End’s wand transformation services on the Trade Channel, which is only available in capital cities.

Tip No. # 2: grab those candy buckets

Here’s another tip that can guarantee you gold: During Hallow’s End, every WoW innkeeper has a Jack O’Lantern-shaped candy bucket. Every time you click on a candy cube, you can make 6 gold and 63 silver if you are at level 80.

Did you know that there are currently 128 innkeepers in all of WoW?

Since less than half of these innkeepers are for each faction (Alliance or Horde), that’s roughly 400 gold or more! That’s a good chunk of change for buying free candy at an inn. Remember that you can only loot each candy bucket once per inn.

Hope you enjoyed these sweet and profitable gold tips and tricks. Happy end of Halloween!
