Separation Anxiety In Dog Behavior: How To Treat A Dog With Separation Anxiety Without Pain

Unfortunately, lately I have seen more and more cases of separation anxiety in dog behavior. Could it be because we all lead such a fast-paced lifestyle that we leave our dogs alone more often? The fact is, dealing with a dog with separation anxiety can be one of the most painful experiences a dog owner can have.

How do you recognize this kind of problem? Just ask yourself — Does your dog bark incessantly or whine a lot every time you say goodbye and leave the house? And, while you’re away, does he chew on your favorite chair or poop and pee in all the places he shouldn’t?

Here’s the thing: your dog isn’t just misbehaving. He is literally suffering from separation anxiety in the dog’s behavior. Why is this?

As a social animal, dogs need to have human companionship or be part of a larger pack of dogs. Being alone is almost unnatural for him. When left alone, a dog chews, whines, barks, digs, goes to the bathroom, anything to go to the bathroom. Part of the problem is that your dog may only react this way when you’re not home.

Is there a way to deal with separation anxiety in dog behavior? Fortunately, yes!

The bottom line for handling this food is training. Just as a dog is trained to poop and urinate in the right place, or to fetch, you can train him to get used to being alone.

Here is a step-by-step approach on how to deal with separation anxiety in dog behavior:

1. Do not give much importance to your game

Don’t make a big deal about saying goodbye when you leave (eg, pay special attention just before). This will only add to the trauma of being left alone. Try giving your dog a treat just before you leave and leave quietly.

Also, when you come home, do it naturally. This will show your dog that your coming and going is not a good or bad thing.

2. Keep your dog busy

Another key step is to keep your dog occupied while you’re away. Let him have his favorite toy with a treat.

3. Use good dog training practices

Be sure to practice good dog behavior rules. Above all, do not coddle or pay too much attention to your dog. As much as possible, encourage your dog to play by himself and praise him accordingly.

4. Exercise your dog to relieve stress

Be sure to exercise your dog regularly. Just like with humans, exercise helps relieve stress in dogs. Exercising your dog regularly also helps keep him healthy, well balanced and strong.

5. Do not punish your dog

Whatever you do, don’t punish your dog for misbehaving. Remember that separation anxiety in dog behavior is not something your dog is intentionally exhibiting.

6. Don’t ignore the problem

When dealing with a dog with this condition, don’t ignore the problem and hope it will go away. Start training now.

7. Consult a vet

When all else fails, consult the vet. While the above is good general advice, remember to seek expert help when necessary. Some cases will require medical attention.

In summary, dealing with separation anxiety in dog behavior requires the following steps:

  1. Don’t make a big deal of leaving
  2. keep your dog busy
  3. Use good dog training practices
  4. Exercise your dog to relieve stress
  5. don’t punish your dog
  6. Don’t ignore the problem
  7. see a vet

If you’re like me, experiencing canine behavior separation anxiety between my dogs is really painful. Don’t let your dog suffer anymore. Please implement the above steps as soon as possible. Your dog will thank you for many years.

Kinect Dance Games – Dance your heart out!

Ever since the computer was invented, life has become easier. It allowed everyone to do things that were considered impossible in earlier times. People can now communicate with their loved ones abroad through chat and even see their loved ones through the camera. Students’ lives have also been made easier because they can now painlessly conduct research over the World Wide Web. Computers are not only used in businesses and schools, they are now also used for numerous recreational activities such as gaming and exercise. Along with this, different companies have created a variety of gaming consoles and devices. Kinect is one of them, and Kinect games are quickly becoming a very popular option for fun.

What is Kinect?

Kinect is designed to be used with a game console, the very popular Xbox 360. Kinect can be compared to Nintendo’s brainchild, Wii. Kinect was just released in North America on November 4, 2010. Release dates in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe came at a later date.

The Kinect sensor is quite small. The sensor is on a horizontal shaped bar that connects to a small base that has a motorized pivot. The Kinect sensor comes with a camera, sensor, and microphone. It is designed to be capable of 3D motion capture, voice recognition, and facial recognition. For now, the device’s voice recognition capability is only available in the United States, Japan, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It will be available in 2011 in other areas.

Kinect dance games

Like the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3, the Kinect is also a treasure trove of games. One of its highlights is the Kinect dance games. Since Kinect has just been released, Kinect games are still limited compared to the other established names in the industry. Dance Central is just one of the few games available right now. This is a dance game where you can dance to your heart’s content no matter if you are a dancer or not.

This has been marketed as one of the best party games of all time. The object of the game is to follow a series of dance moves correctly. You will be graded based on your way of dancing and the precision of your dance steps. This is different from other dance games that only require you to move your arms and feet. With this game you will do a lot of exercise; requires dancing with the whole body. Right now, there are only about 30 songs you can dance to, but don’t worry; the song list will be expanded soon.

The game has different difficulty levels. You have to be able to pass the easier levels before you can unlock the hard level. Fortunately, the game comes with modes that are like tutorials for people just starting to dance. Players get the chance to watch the moves up close by choosing to slow down the dance moves. Apart from the dancers that you see doing the steps on the screen; You’ll also hear a voice guide you through the steps telling you what to do next.

Dance Central has been reviewed by the masses and by numerous independent companies and has garnered nothing but rave reviews so far. In fact, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest score, it has never gone below 8. Impressive, isn’t it?

In conclusion…

If you want dance routines that are realistic enough for the average dancer to pull off, or if you want a full body workout, want to work on your dance moves, get a Kinect and dance with Dance Central now!

Ness’s Notes (January 8)

Two wild card games down, two to go. In Game 1 Saturday, the Redskins and Bucs met for the second time this year, but it wasn’t a repeat of their Week 10 meeting. 71 points were scored (TB won 36-35) and the two teams combined. for 729 yards in that regular-season game. However, in yesterday’s wild card contest, the teams combined for 27 points (Wash won 17-10) and just 363 yards! In Saturday’s Cup, the Pats defeated the Jags 28-3. It was their 10th straight playoff win.

Since 1990, when the league adopted its 12-team playoff format, home teams have dominated this wild-card round, going 43-17 SU. As for the distribution of points, it has been broken down like this. Home favorites are 28-23-3 ATS with home ‘dogs’ going 5-1. Only once, in 2000, have all four home teams won and just last year, THREE of the four visiting teams were able to break through with victories (Indy’s 49-24 win over Denver was the only win for a home team).

My free play for college basketball on Sunday is Southern Illinois over Bradley at 3:00 ET. I won my 20* GOY Wild Card very easily on Saturday with New England and in Sunday’s NFL playoff action I featured one of my exclusive LEGEND Plays. Regular visitors know that my LEGEND plays on FB ’05 are a remarkable 13-2 or 86.7% ATS! Do not miss it!

Washington beat Tampa Bay despite gaining only 120 total yards, the lowest yardage total ever, for a playoff-winning team. AMAZING, Washington’s 25 net passing yards weren’t the lowest total by a winning playoff team! In fact, according to postgame reports, TWO teams have won playoff games with fewer net passing yards than the Redskins. I don’t know about you, but I’ll be interested to know who those teams were!

Joe Gibbs earned his 17th career playoff win (he has five losses), 13 years after his last. He now follows only Don Shula (19) and Tom Landry (20), of all time. While the Redskins have now won and covered SIX straight games, Gibbs may have some trouble getting his 18th playoff win as the Redskins play Seattle next Saturday. The first line is Seattle for 8 1/2 with a total of 41.

Tom Brady improved his career playoff record to 10-0 as the Patriots easily defeated the Jags, 28-3. With the win, Bill Belichick moved to 11–1 all-time in the playoffs, giving him the best winning percentage of any NFL head coach in playoff history at .917. New England’s 10th straight postseason win is also a new record, breaking a tie with the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay won NINE consecutive playoff games during FIVE playoff seasons (1961, 1962 and 1965-67). How times have changed!

Sunday’s games are Carolina at the New York Giants and Pittsburgh at Cincinnati. With the two home teams going 1-1 yesterday, the home teams are now 44-18 since 1990. However, both home teams on Sunday will be starting quarterbacks making their playoff debuts. Eli Manning for the Giants and Carson Palmer for the Bengals. The playoff ‘virgins’ did not fare well yesterday as Tampa Bay (Chris Simms) and Jacksonville (Leftwich) both lost, scoring a combined total of just 13 points!

The Giants are three-point favorites over the Panthers at 43 1/2 total, while the Steelers are three-point favorites on the road against the Bengals (46 1/2 total).

college hoops

Seven schools started this week still undefeated but three have lost, two yesterday. U Conn suffered its first loss of the year Tuesday at Marquette (94-79), while Illinois and Ohio State lost their first games this year yesterday. The Illini were beaten at Iowa 63-48, while the Buckeyes lost at Indiana, 81-79.

Florida, now 14-0, won Georgia on Saturday, 90-72. No. 1 Duke (13-0) is at Wake Forest on Sunday and the Blue Devils are listed as eight-point favorites. No. 3 Villanova (10-0) hosts West Va and opened as a 12 1/2-point pick. No. 22 Pittsburgh (12-0), the fourth remaining undefeated team in the nation, doesn’t play until next Thursday, when the Panthers host DePaul.

While Illinois lost for the first time this year (after a 15-0 start), the Illini are still tied with Gonzaga for the longest current home winning streak in the country (both schools have won 30 straight home games). ). I bring this up because Southern Illinois will try to unite those two schools on Sunday. The Salukis put their 29-game winning streak on the line at home against Bradley, a game in which they are 3 1/2-point favorites.

Balance Budgeting Basics: Your Guide To MLM Success By Budgeting Your Money, Effort, And Time

Working from home and being the boss of your own home business is a dream come true for me and a path many others have or would like to follow. It’s a great feeling and a very rewarding experience in more ways than just financially.

However, not everything is easy and it just fits when you are working on your own business from home. One of the things that I struggled with and still have to work with on a daily basis is maintaining a balanced budget.

I always thought that if I could work within the constraints of my available money, I was good to go. I soon learned (sort of the hard way) through trial and error and success and FAILURE that creating a work budget means much more than just keeping track of your money.

I found out that there are actually 3 things you need to keep track of during your daily work schedule. Money, effort and time are very important assets that you have at your disposal every day. Each plays an important role and neglecting one or all of them is often the difference between having a successful business, just surviving (you know the feeling, hanging by a thread) and that dreaded word: failure.

I wrote this article to try to help others avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made. For me, one of the best parts of working in Network Marketing and really any home business is the amount of sharing and help available from people who actually follow this business plan.

So read on and learn that there is much more to budgeting for your network marketing business than just watching your money. To be successful in MLM, or really any home business, you need to not only budget your money but also your effort and time. Tracking how you do things and the results you get can help you better manage all three (money, effort, and time) until you find the formula that works for you and your business. Teach yourself to create success and avoid the waste that so many home-based businesses get caught up in.

Budget planning is not usually a topic that comes up when you start your network marketing business. Business planning as a whole is not at the top of the list when you get hired or when you ‘discover’ your network marketing company that will make you millions. But once the dust settles and the initial ‘fire’ dies down, are you ready to do whatever it takes to succeed?

Budgeting your money, working your hardest, and managing time effectively are skills needed to be successful, but they are not skills we are born with. Procrastination and lack of a boss and deadline are real killers when you become your own boss.

Have you ever found yourself checking your email even though you checked it 10 minutes before? Or maybe you’re reading about the next big thing that will take your network marketing business to the next level. I mean who doesn’t want to double or triple their income just by writing a better headline in their email. But honestly, if you’re just getting started and you don’t have a list to send that email to, how are you going to double your money? I’m sure these programs work fine, but take a look at where you are and what you have. Where can you really spend your time, effort, and money most effectively building your business?

I know you probably do these things because I did (and to be honest) and still do unless I focus. To help me, I created a little acronym: MET, which stands for Money, Effort, and Time. I ask myself, “DID YOU MEET your needs and your budget TODAY?” before straying down the path of easy dreams.

Let’s take a closer look at all three parts. M or Money is the part everyone thinks of when you say balancing a budget or budgeting basics. It really is important, but it may actually be the simplest of the three to manage. First, you need to decide how much you actually have to spend on your business each month. Maybe it’s $100 or maybe it’s $200; It’s different for everyone and it’s okay if it can only be $20. Once you determine this, you need to decide what is important to your business RIGHT NOW! If you’re just starting out, you may need business cards or some office supplies. If you’ve been working for a while, you might want to invest in an email autoresponder system or buy some leads or purchase promotional material. It all depends on your goals and where your business is on the road. But once you establish your money budget, stick to it. Decide what is really needed for where you are. You don’t have to buy every good-sounding product or have all the bells and whistles. Get established, and then use some of that new income to help you meet more and more of your needs.

Next we have E for Effort. It really is even better to call it Effective Effort. Many of us spend a lot of time in front of the computer or looking at the phone and we say that we are at work. But how much effort is really being put in and is it effective? Maybe you have two hours to work today. One around 7pm right after dinner and another around 10pm after the kids go to bed. Well, if we decide to spend 30 minutes reading a training manual, and then 15 minutes responding to an email, and 15 minutes working on writing an article, we’ve done a lot of effort. These are all things that Network Marketers need to do. But if we did all of this at 7 and then saw that we needed to call a new prospect or call one of our new team members and sat down at 10 pm to do it, we’ve wasted time. It’s too late to make our phone calls. So even though we were very good at making our list and doing our job, we didn’t do it effectively, so we wasted some of our time. And I haven’t even mentioned that most people (with me being very guilty) are turned off by the cool YouTube video or the interesting email or the great sales pitch. Focus is critical to the effort and making your efforts effective.

This brings us to T for Time. I saved this for last because that’s where the acronym fits, but even more important because it’s what I consider to be their most important product. Money with which we can work and even earn more. The effort can be relearned or refocused and thus improved, but TIME is here only once. The hour I wasted or missed today cannot be replaced. He went away. Time is precious and fundamental to everything you do and want to do. So take a hard look at your time and how you want to spend it and how you actually spend it. You can’t get it back. I started this home business as a way to spend more time with my family and do the things I love, so for me, budgeting for this block of time came first. I too (like most network marketers) started my home business while still working my 9 to 5 job. So once I got these time blocks out, I was able to make a realistic budget for how much time I could spend on my home business Again, this is different for everyone. So don’t be guided by what someone else did, do what is right for you.

Then look back at all 3 areas and BE REAL. Are you really going to work at the shop at 9 on Saturday night? Do you really have an extra $250 EVERY month? Will you be able to focus and put in 100% effort at 5 o’clock when the kids are hungry and dinner necessities are ready?

To get a true assessment of how much money and time you have to spend and how much effort you can really put in, start tracking what you do. Look around you at successful businesses. You can bet they track things. Do you think they spend a million dollars on a Superbowl commercial and then don’t follow up to see if they’re making a profit? What is Return on Investment (ROI)? You can do the same. Create a tracking sheet to keep track of when you are working on your business or when you have downtime. Keep track of where your money is going and if you have anything extra to invest in your success. Keep track of what you do in the time you spend working.

Tracking will not only help you make a balanced and realistic budget, but it will also help you focus and use the resources you have more effectively. Effective effort rears its head once again. See how it all keeps tying up in a big circle.

It’s time to start. Don’t waste any more of your money, effort or time. Work on setting your goals, and then use the basics of balancing a budget to create a balanced budget. Stay focused and realize that success doesn’t come overnight, it comes in small packages if you just have fun and enjoy what you’re doing. That’s the reason we wanted this home business in the first place – remember?

Success in this business is not defined by speed. It’s okay to take a little longer than the guy you read about online. In all honesty, it takes most Network Marketers 2-5 years to reach what they consider to be a successful level of business. Of course, the more you have MADE your budget and the higher the budget, you can speed things up. More money, more effective effort and, of course, more time can get you there faster. But before you give up, look where you are now. Are you happy with what you have or where you are headed? Are you willing to spend the extra money, effort, and time necessary to achieve the life you dream of, the life you deserve?

Have you FULFILLED your goals? Avoid waste and start breeding successfully. Budgeting your money, effort, and time is the best way to create success. Stay focused and remember to keep all 3 in mind during your daily routine.

Think about it!

5 Design Tips for Flash Ads

In order to have a successful banner ad campaign that incorporates custom flash banners, you need to follow some basic design tips.

1) Keep the file size small. We discussed this a bit last week, but websites don’t like large files and will charge you more for a flash ad banner with a larger file. To reduce the file size, try to use a limited number of colors, gradients, and dashed or dotted lines.

2) Increase readability by using the best font. Font has to do with size and type. For the size, you need to make sure that it is big enough for people to read your banner on the screen. A font that is 18 point or larger will work well. For the type of font you use in your ad, be sure to use a font that is web-safe and translates to all programs. Good examples of this are Arial or Verdana. It will also help your readability if you make your font bold.

3) Always include a close button. Readers want to feel in control. Therefore, give them some control. If your custom flash banner opens or expands when you mouse over it, or if your flash banner ad moves down the page, be sure to include a close button so your potential viewers can control when they see your banner ad.

4) Limit animation and video time. Your flash banner is an advertisement, which means that while you want to grab people’s attention, you don’t want to drive them completely away from the page they were looking for. You should try to keep your banner ad animation and videos short and to the point. In general, your custom flash banner animation should be around 15 seconds long and your videos should be no longer than 30 seconds.

5) Includes a pause button. Your purpose here is to grab the attention of potential customers, not annoy them. The sound will draw their attention to your custom flash banner, but it can also annoy them if they can’t turn it off. Just like with a close button, always give your viewers control and add a pause button when you include sound in your flash banner ads.

How to Manage Home Renovation Costs

It can be quite a tedious task to keep your budget in check while renovating your home. But it’s still possible to reduce your home renovation costs and achieve a fantastic result. Take a look at these effective tips to keep your home renovation costs under control.

  • Analyze the purpose of a housing reform: This step is key to modernizing a more realistic budget. If you want to make it your permanent place of residence, it’s okay to make a big impact on your home remodeling project by adding a new room or incorporating new fixtures or even the latest styles. On the other hand, if the main intention behind renovating your home is to sell it for a good return, you’ll want to focus primarily on strategies that attract potential buyers while not stretching your bottom line.

  • Set realistic budgets: Setting a budget is about differentiating the must-haves from the goodies. Consult a professional builder or architect who will help you design a perfect renovation plan that allows you to stay within the limits of your budget. But no matter how meticulously you plan your home renovation steps, there’s a good chance you’ll be tempted to shell out a little more here and there. Therefore, it is always safe to reserve a contingency amount, preferably 15-20% of the total price quoted.

  • Shopping around: Comparing prices will help you dramatically reduce home renovation supplies, fixtures, materials, and even labor expenses. Request quotes, hunt for bargains, and most importantly, use your negotiating skills to your advantage. All of this may sound hectic, but it will certainly be rewarding.

  • Be creative: Don’t despair even if you can’t finance major works that will greatly increase the visual appeal and value of your property. You can still make a big impact by being creative and using more affordable alternatives to enhance your home’s overall appeal. Physical preparation for the wedding day

wedding day success

How to shape the perfect wedding figure

Every bride strives to look her best on her wedding day. The dress, hair, nails and makeup combine to create a beautiful image. But these days, one aspect has become increasingly important to those who walk down the aisle: the body! Achieving a healthy, slim and defined figure has become an ingredient of the wedding day that many brides consider non-negotiable. But how can a bride achieve the perfect body for her wedding day?

The first thing to consider is time. Obviously, the more time you have before the big day, the greater the transformation possible and the less stressful it will be to achieve a facelift. Ideally, the bride-to-be should consider starting a lifestyle and exercise program 3-6 months before the wedding, as this will allow for a healthy transition that can be maintained long after the big day has passed. If a bride finds herself at just 6 weeks, it’s certainly not a time to panic. All hope is not lost, but the bride must realize that drastic fitness and eating routines are not the way to go.

In order for the bride to start a successful fitness routine, she needs to combine cardio with resistance training. The two go hand in hand when it comes to achieving a lean and defined figure. When combined with a smart eating plan, these training methods will promote a daily caloric deficit (the body burns more calories than it takes in) and therefore weight loss. While cardiovascular training causes the use of calories for energy during exercise, resistance training will encourage the development of lean muscle tissue and therefore improve calorie burning when the body is at rest. What more could a bride want than to burn calories while she’s sitting down!

It’s also important to consider the specific areas of the body you want to target. For most brides, the areas of the body that will command attention on the big day are the shoulders, arms, and back. Resistance training (when the muscles of the body are trained by applying resistance to a movement) is immensely beneficial in improving these areas and will allow the bride to tone and define without gaining unwanted bulk. Resistance training methods include using your own body weight, elastic bands, weight machines, and dumbbells.

Using free weights as a form of resistance training is particularly effective because both sides of your body have to work equally hard, whereas with most weight machines, the stronger side of your body will dominate and do the work. on the weaker side. Building both sides of the body together gives you a more balanced look, a definite plus when wearing your dress. Adjustable free weights are also great because they tend to be inexpensive, portable, and take up little space so you can complete your workouts in the comfort of your own home. But, brides-to-be, remember that whether you use weight machines or free weights, proper technique is essential to achieving the results you want and avoiding injury. Incorporating the help of a personal trainer will guarantee your safety in this regard.

Ladies take note: When targeting particular parts of the body, keep in mind that spot reduction simply isn’t possible. Spot reduction is the idea that if you work a specific muscle group, you will decrease the amount of fat in that area. The abs are a great example. Many people perform hundreds of crunches daily and don’t know why that layer of stubborn fat isn’t moving. The reason for this is simple: a muscle does not own the fat that surrounds it. Crunches, for example, will strengthen the abdominal muscles but will not remove the layer of fat that covers the muscles. As mentioned above, a combination of cardio and resistance training is essential and will allow the bride to lose fat anywhere on the body, including problem areas.

While the upper part of the body is exposed, the midsection is usually hidden under the beautiful dress. This does not mean that you should forget about everything. Otherwise! The most common occasion after the wedding is the honeymoon and who wants more than being able to put on their bikini and expose a strong and lean stomach. We have already discussed the importance of cardio and resistance to reduce fat and therefore decrease weight in the intestinal area. When it comes to actual core strengthening, it’s important to remember quality over quantity. A common mistake that most make when working their core (upper and lower abs and back muscles) is to perform numerous repetitions of a single exercise, say 100 sit-ups. Here’s an inside tip, to build abs, an exercise should be hard enough that you can’t perform more than 8-12 reps. That’s how it is! Only from 8 to 12! For detailed information on the best exercises to tone your midsection, visit www.fitsquad.ca for free video demonstrations.

Regardless of the exercise routine followed, ultimate success will only occur when a proper eating plan is established. This will not only help to lose extra pounds, but also improve the condition of the skin, nails and teeth. Foods to avoid include anything white (white sugar, flour, pasta) because they have been refined to the point where they provide little to no nutritional value. Also, many of these foods trigger insulin responses in the body that cause glucose to be stored as glycogen in the muscles, when muscle stores are full fat cells will absorb the glucose and store it as fat, something we don’t look for when getting ready for a wedding! While this may sound like obvious advice, it bears repeating that fried foods and other sweets loaded with trans fat will put you on the fast track to weight gain. Foods to load include green leafy vegetables and plants (these have some of the best nutritional profiles of all foods), good sources of protein (for example, quinoa, beans, hemp hearts, fish, lean cuts of meat), healthy oils (the ones that contain monounsaturated fats, omega 3 fats and omega 6 fats) and, of course, fruits. Don’t forget, water is the source of all life! Drink at least 1.5 liters of water per day and limit your intake of coffee, alcohol and any sugary drinks. Also, if possible, avoid eating 2 hours before bed. Your body is ready to heal and repair itself, and any energy you take in will likely be absorbed and stored.

Brides-to-be, please remember that last-minute radical fasting plans shake up the body and can lead to digestive problems, skin conditions, and a host of other problems. Avoid at all costs! Also, rest is vital when participating in an exercise program. Although exercise provides great stress relief, overtraining can lead to burnout and injury, and can end up adding more stress to a bride’s already demanding life. Lastly, while they can be expensive, many brides have found that they have been transformed in a relatively short space of time by incorporating the help of a personal trainer. If you can find a way to fit this into her budget, you can almost guarantee success in reaching her fitness goals. You’re starting a new chapter in your life, so walk in with style!

Baby Shoe Size Chart – Simple and Functional

What else could be happier than watching your baby take their first step? As the child inched toward you, she realizes that soft, comfortable shoes play an important role in protecting those tender feet from all kinds of dangers. You can find a wide range of cute shoes in different styles, colors, and sizes. From newborns to toddlers, there are cute shoes available for all ages. A baby’s foot grows rapidly during the first three years, so it is important for parents to know the correct size for their baby’s feet.

It is also recommended to measure baby’s feet every couple of months to make sure you buy the right pair of cute shoes for your little one. When it comes to baby shoe sizing, each manufacturer follows a different set of guidelines. Baby cribs are the right choice for newborns and babies from 6 months. Also known as baby shoes, the length of these shoes should be 4 inches long and 2 inches wide.

  • For children 3 to 6 months, shoes that are 4.5 inches long and 2.25 inches wide may be the perfect choice. Baby shoe sizes differ from country to country. Babies in the US can wear shoe size 2, while in the European Union it is size 17.5.
  • For children 6-12 months, the length of the shoes must be 5 inches and the width 2.5 inches. These cute baby shoes are suitable for crawling babies. These shoes are equivalent to size 5 in the US and size 20 in the European Union.
  • Then come the sizes for 12-18 months. These shoes are also known as walking shoes or toddler soft shoes and come in the US equivalent size of 7 and the European Union equivalent size of 23. These walking shoes measure 5.5 inches in length and 2.75 inches wide.
  • For older babies between 18 and 24 months, the appropriate size would be US 8 and EU 24.
Legal Law

How can lawyers defend criminals?

The most common question I am faced with as a Washington State criminal defense attorney is: “How do you defend criminals?” This question is generally based on two assumptions: 1. the defendant is obviously guilty; and 2. by defending him, you are trying to let this obviously guilty person get away with it. As you will see, these assumptions turn out to be incorrect.

arrest does not equal guilt

It is tempting to think that a Defendant must be guilty because the police arrested him for something. However, the law has a very different standard for judging when an arrest is valid and when a conviction is required.

A valid arrest requires probable cause. This term is defined in different ways, but generally exists when the facts and circumstances known to the arresting officer are reliable enough to cause a reasonable person to believe that a crime has been committed. If you think about that definition for a while, it becomes apparent that it’s actually a very low standard; and should be

The rule is designed to ensure that there is some evidence before an arrest is made, but balance the requirements of how strong that evidence is with the speed of decision required to catch criminals.

Here’s an example: A woman tells the police that a man stole her bag. The police question the man and he denies knowing anything about the bag. Finally, the wallet cannot be located. Under Probable Cause, there would be enough to warrant the man’s arrest since the woman said she stole his bag. Do we know if she did it or not? No. Should we let the judicial system determine if the man is guilty or not? Of course!

Knowing that an arrest simply starts the judicial process, officers often err in making an arrest in a close decision; as they should. Even the instructions read to jurors emphasize the point, stating that the fact that the defendant has been arrested has no bearing on whether or not he or she is guilty of the crime of which he or she is charged.

Beyond a reasonable doubt

We’ve all heard it on TV, but the standard in a criminal case is “Beyond a reasonable doubt.” But what does that mean? The term “reasonable doubt” can be defined differently, but generally it is:

One for which there is a reason and can come from evidence or lack of evidence. It is a doubt such as would exist in the mind of a reasonable person after fully, fairly, and carefully considering all the evidence or lack of evidence.

If we needed to convince a police officer beyond a reasonable doubt before he could arrest someone, all the “bad guys” would get away before the officer concluded his investigation.

What do you do if someone is guilty?

If someone is guilty, there is nothing a lawyer can do about it. keep that in mind

A jury is made up of normal people. No matter how skilled the lawyer is, if the defendant is obviously guilty, the jury will convict. In this case, the attorney’s job is two-part: finding out what charges the defendant is actually guilty of, and making sure the sentence is rational.

overloaded

People are often accused of more, that is, accused of more than the State can prove. An example of this is when someone is charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and reckless driving. Very few DUI cases also meet the standards required for reckless driving. In this case, if the defendant is guilty of DUI but is not reckless, a good criminal defense attorney should be able to get the reckless driving charge dismissed even if the defendant is ultimately convicted of DUI.

rational judgment

Once a defendant is found guilty, the court’s next job is to impose sentence. The lawyer’s job becomes to make sure that the sentence is appropriate for the crime charged and the criminal history of the defendant. As a general rule, the more criminal convictions someone has, the more severely they will be sentenced for any new charges. Sometimes, however, the prosecution will seek to punish someone with little or no history in the same way that they would a career criminal. By sentencing first-time criminals and professional criminals alike, we do not reward people who have basically lived a good life or sufficiently punish those who choose a life of crime.

What to do if the State cannot prove the charge?

There are two main categories of cases where the prosecution fails to prove its case, either at the outset or at trial.

at first

There are often times when the prosecution simply does not have any proof that the defendant is guilty of a crime. In this case, you can file a Motion to Dismiss and ask a judge to review the evidence to see if a dismissal is required. This motion may require witnesses to appear and testify or it may be based on the police reports themselves.

at trial

If the prosecution has evidence that someone is guilty, that is not the end of the matter. How strong is that evidence? Are the witnesses credible? Do they have a grudge against the defendant? The heart of our judicial system is trial by jury. A trial is literally the first time someone hears ALL the evidence. Evidence can be stressful, but in a closed case it can be a life saver.

Technicalities and the Law

I often hear people say that a defendant got away due to some technicality. There are no “technicalities” in the Law, there is only The Law. Should it apply to everyone or should we allow the government to be immune from law enforcement? If the police violate the law, the remedy can range from the suppression of evidence to the dismissal of the case altogether.

The judicial system is our best attempt to create a process that is fair. However, like any system, it is only as good as the people who work on it. Defending people accused of crimes is not about “helping them get away with murder” but about ensuring that everyone is treated fairly. At The Cahoon Law Office, we still focus on one client at a time and ensure that all of our clients’ legal defenses and rights are utilized and protected.

Shibari – Body, Mind, Spirit

Shibari (also known as “Japanese bondage” is an ancient Japanese concept of integrated body, mind, and spirit.

The goal is to unlock erotic energy through trance or trance-like experiences.

Trance (a different level of consciousness) is achieved through a refined mix of atmosphere, ritual, meditation, love, techniques, and intensity of the situation.

Most Eastern forms of lovemaking are rarely direct sexuality, but rather an intriguing game of exploration and challenge and a delicate combination of subtlety and clarity.

Shibari is no different.

What is trance?

Trance is a situation in which one is so dedicated and focused on a specific goal or situation that, by blocking out everything else, the mind’s spiritual abilities are fully dedicated to that specific activity. This opens up the mind to be able to experience, and use, things that it never could under “normal” circumstances, as the brain will be too distracted and too busy.

Certain hormones, especially endorphins, play an important role in trance. Endorphins (morphine-like amino acids produced by the body) are the key factor here. Endorphins are known as the “mood chemicals” in your body. They create your moods, all of them. They come in complex cocktails and serve other purposes as well. For example, they are a natural pain reliever. Experiencing high doses of endorphin release is called an endorphin rush. This is known as “runner’s high” in athletics and “subspace” in energy exchange activities.

A combination of endorphins, dopamine (known as “the lover’s feel-good hormone”), enkapheline, and adrenaline releases create “super consciousness” and this is the key factor in creating the trance. Since experiences such as fear, anxiety, stress, and physical impulses such as pain cause the release of high doses of adrenaline and later endorphins, these impulses are used to allow you to climb the first rungs of the trance ladder. Endorphins have a “sister hormone” called enkephalin, which works in the spinal cord in the same way that enderphins work in the brain.

Since the mood is important, the atmosphere is important, so in terms of Shibari body, mind and spirit, a lot of emphasis is placed on preparation and physical area. To do this, things like candlelight, aromatherapy (incense or evaporation of essential oils), baths, and other rituals and techniques are used to create “makama” – the “circle” (area), the physical area where both members of the couple will experience their intense lovemaking. Meditation helps to focus the mind and eventually Ki energy exchange is used to further enhance the bond between partners and the forces of gravity and sensory deprivation techniques are used to create a complete trance.

Erogenous zones

There is a widespread misunderstanding: “erogenous zones are directly connected to the genital area and other primary sexual identification characteristics (such as breasts).” The fact is that about 25 percent of the body surface (a little more in the male body) can be identified as an erogenous zone. And the brain is undoubtedly the largest sexual organ. Erogenous zones are generally best stimulated through gentle massage, but they are also very receptive to other forms of stimulation, for example pain (if you’re into that) or bondage.

The seven patterns of passionate lovemaking

By pressing gently, or harder, to introduce the element of mild pain, your fingernails into the fleshy parts of your partner’s body, you can not only leave temporary marks, but it can also be an erotic game in itself. To do this, uniform and symmetrical patterns are your best option. This will not only satisfy your lust, but it will also leave something to remember for a few hours, perhaps a day or two, an effect that, more intensely, is also usually the result of spanking and spanking.

Rope markings are often an essential part of bondage. In a Shibari context of body, mind and spirit, they play a role similar to other forms of leaving marks of love.

In their original form, these patterns must follow specific designs and all serve specific purposes. The idea is to leave physical marks that function as a “revealer”, which – for example in ancient India – forced the “marked woman” to hide these marks as they indicated lustful and wild love. The more intense the time mark, the more intense the sexual act had been. Repeated and complicated combinations of the seven patterns would indicate that the woman had really suffered during the sexual act and the complicated patterns make it clear that she had to remain immobile during a long foreplay, while the impulses of pain and arousal increased the lust. her.

the love bite

Tender teeth or not, sunk into the tender female flesh, it’s not just a scene straight out of a Dracula movie. Many novels and poems tell stories about love bites. And indeed, like lash marks, bruises and others, bite marks serve as something to remember, to be proud of, to relive the previous passionate night: pain, ecstasy, lust, love and intimacy.

The Kama Sutra is again one of the few sources that describes the combination of marking impulses and pain during the sexual act. Unfortunately, several patterns, although others are mentioned, are not described in sufficient detail to reconstruct them. Several different flower patterns are mentioned, for example. They must be combinations of teeth and nail prints.

the magic of knots

The magical power of the knot is as old as humanity. You will find references to the magical power of the knot in almost any ancient culture, be it Babylonian, Celtic, Oriental, Hermetic, Wiccan, Voodoo, or others.

Love magic, and there are many forms of that, almost always involves the use of knots and, of course, rope. Actually, we still have some of that left in modern times. Tie a knot in your handkerchief to remember something really important

How does it work?

Magic is about manipulating life energy. This energy is called Ki in Japanese, Chi in Chinese, or Prana in Sanskrit (the ancient language of India, still used in yoga, for example). Consciously tying one or more knots in a rope is one way to bundle this energy and store it there. Of course, this energy will not make your car run. It won’t make the lights come on either. But it will be more than enough to have its influence on the subtle network of Ki energy exchange, which is everywhere.

In Shibari, these “energized” knots and ropes will replace the heart and hands of the giver, and as such contribute to the entire physical and spiritual experience. They allow the giver to “still be close to the receiver” even when they are not physically close. The interaction between the energy of the donor – temporarily stored in the knots – and the pressure points on the Ki meridians in the body of the recipient is what will release very powerful sexual and spiritual experiences.

Sexual energy is one of the most powerful manifestations of Ki energy. This is why we still refer to everything that happens between love partners as “the magic,” “the spark,” or “the energy.”

universal love magic

The use of ropes and knots, when working with sexual energy, is universal. In ancient Babylon (in the Middle East) seven knots were tied in a rope to invoke love. Wicca has a similar tradition of tying three knots in a rope for the same purpose (sometimes with an almond – the “love nut” – inside each knot). African voodoo works with seven knots on a rope or with wrists, tied together, to invoke love, the Kama Sutra tells of female love couples, suspended on a rope to increase their sexual energy. These are just a few of many examples.

Is all this strange? Not really. There are more than 50 erotic pressure points (Tsubo) on the human body, each one as powerful as the clitoris or the nipples. And there are 60 other hormone-releasing pressure points along the spine, many of which have an erotic/sexual function. The ropes and knots will directly stimulate all of this and the energy, gathered in a knot, will only enhance its effect.
