Marketing TikTok 101

When Taylor Swift, who was feeling pop, introduced her single “Me” in April 2019, the tune instantly went viral. Features Brenden Urie from Stress! In The Disco and the music, the film is between the two dancing and singing in a kaleidoscope of light colors. Shortly after the release, Swift’s TikTok accounts posted a clip on the film using the entire hashtag, #AnotherLikeMe, and it’s a lyric from the song. “Show us the best recreation of the dance, use the MEdancechallenge and we’ll find our favorites,” the accounts posted.

A week later, #AnotherLikeMe had garnered over 3 million views. Additionally, #Medancechallenge garnered over 500,000 insights on TikTok. It ended up being a promotional triumph for Swift.

If you’re still not sure why and how to embrace this humorous and irreverent stage, here’s our best TikTok promotion guide.

1) Tag Challenge

In 2018, handsome late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon competed with audiences on The Tonight Show to post videos of them rolling across the ground, eg individual tumbleweeds to Western songs on TikTok from the #tumbleweedchallenge. By 2019, over 8,000 #tumbleweedchallenge movies were shared on TikTok. The response prompted him to follow a second TikTok challenge, asking his audience to share clips of these mustaches being drawn on their faces with a permanent marker.

The challenge would be a big part of TikTok’s allure and accomplishment. At any given time, there will be quite a few challenges that consumers will face. The notion of #HashtagChallenge involves users taking a concept, be it humorous, weird, or in need of a giveaway, and replaying it using their movies. Brands use the fight in exactly the same way that Taylor Swift failed TikTok users to make movies inspired by the brand’s authentic video.

2) Creative and viral articles

In April 2019, the German soccer team Bayern Munich set up a formal TikTok profile that they planned to reach out to potential young lovers. Even though a football team seems like an unlikely match for a virally spreading show, so 15-second movies of teens doing wacky and funny things, football players’ inclination to watch their intentions dancing in the area made this a perfect game.

Bayern Munich’s TikTok content plan, which runs out of the club’s German headquarters, sees the social media group post a few clips each week of players strutting their stuff. Since the team started his profile, he has amassed nearly 80,000 followers and his first 11 articles have been viewed more than 4 million times.

In 2018, in the United States alone, more than 26 million active consumers spent, on average, 46 minutes every day on TikTok. However, along with the program still in its early stages, there is a real opportunity for entrepreneurs to amplify the achievement and vulnerability of its makers, as it is not yet as bloated as platforms like Instagram and Snapchat. Spontaneous viral articles can therefore take you much further, where there is less competition for consumer interest. It’s also cheaper to scale up your promotion on TikTok if you want to venture into ads. Most manufacturers using the program have started small with this form of natural content to control water.

Along with the program giving users unlimited ability to get creative, it also works especially well for manufacturers selling support and innovative content. After GlobalWebIndexout of 10 TikTok consumers share songs they enjoy on social media, also 53 percent mostly share song videos. That’s precisely why artists like Swift were among the first to seize the opportunity TikTok presented.

3) Acquisition Announcements

The use of ads on TikTok is still relatively new, having only started in January 2019. When it’s going to cost you money, it’s also a sure fire method of drawing attention to your brand, especially when done right. There are many tactics for using ads on TikTok, along with the program, which provides effective measurement metrics like clicks, impressions, and unique reach to determine your ad achievement.

Acquisition ads can be purchased for a new landing page or a Hashtag barrier. In addition, TikTok offers exclusive promotions for classes every day. This means that a single brand can take over a class every day. Brand Takeover ads can be in the form of still images, movies, or even GIFs.

4) Hashtag Brand Ads

If you’re afraid your hashtag challenge won’t take off because you need to, you can even buy a hashtag challenge ad on TikTok. The first brand to do this was the fashion brand Guess along with the whole #InMyDenim challenge. All the users who started the TikTok program were brought into the fight, which examines the start with famous and influential content creators like @ourfire (2.3 million lovers) and also @madison_willow (+983,000 lovers). The #InMyDenim challenge garnered more than 36 million views.

Sponsored Hashtag Challenges are set up as a banner ad on the web page, which will direct users to a challenge page that includes instructions for your challenge alongside existing content using this Hashtag. It will cost you a bit of money, while natural hashtag challenges won’t, but they may be worth it.

A Review of the Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker

For a price of less than $70, the Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker offers quite an exceptional value. It’s a Japanese product through and through, from inception and design to engineering, so how does it rate compared to more established brands?

In general, I’m going to call this product Zutto, instead of repeating its full name from time to time (sighs of relief!).

power and capacity

For such a compact coffee maker, the Zutto has all the power you need to give you a great coffee experience. It prepares very hot coffee for 5 cups (as opposed to the traditional 4), thanks to its 650-watt motor, and its heating plate heats the carafe during preparation and then keeps the coffee hot.

A word of caution here: most coffee makers tend to exaggerate the number of cups they can produce in a single sitting, and Zojirushi is no exception. His mugs measure 5 ounces each, which isn’t exactly generous. However, the reservoir capacity is 23 ounces and you can get two decent cups of coffee out of a single brew.

Simplicity and Speed

The Zutto boasts a 3-5 minute brew cycle, though it’s closer to 8 minutes if you wait until the last drop has fallen from the filter into what Zojinishi calls the decanter (the carafe).

Few complain about the time it takes to do this: not many coffee machines are faster, and in any case, you need plenty of time for the ground coffee to release its flavor while the hot water seeps through.

Zutto’s simple design helps here. It’s quite unique in that the filter cone is inside the carafe, rather than just sitting on top of it. When you take the carafe to pour your coffee, you take the filter with it. Therefore, any late-arriving coffee drips that occur while you are pouring the coffee fall into the carafe and not the warming plate. Very cool.

There’s nothing to program, no LCD screens, no bells and whistles. Simply fill the reservoir with water, check that the filter is in place, add your ground coffee, and press the button on the device. It couldn’t be simpler.

What about cleaning?

The downside of any coffee maker must include cleanliness. The combination of ground coffee and hot water means there is always a lot of dirt and scale buildup. But the Zutto has to be the easiest coffee maker to clean.

For starters, the water tank can be easily removed for filling from the tap or for cleaning. I already mentioned that the filter cone is inside the carafe, so you just need to wash or rinse them together.

You can keep your Zutto in top condition simply by rinsing it with water before first use and periodically for as long as you own it.

and filters…

Filters are to some extent a personal thing. Some always use paper filters, while others prefer the ease of permanent gold filters.

The Zutto has a #2 paper cone filter, but you can use a gold filter as long as you hold the handle of the carafe naturally to prevent it from slipping out while pouring. A simple perforated lid fits on top, making everything easy to clean.

The charcoal filter, like the carafe, can be easily replaced. Charcoal, being a natural substance, will need to be replaced every so often (two years, according to Zojirushi).

Features and specifications:

  • Model Number: EC-DAC50
  • removable water tank
  • carbon water filter
  • keep warm automatically
  • cULus listed
  • Capacity: 5 cups / 23 ounces / 2 cups
  • Dimensions (W x D x H): 8-7/8 x 6 x 10-3/4 inches
  • Electrical Rating: 120 volts / 650 watts
  • Replacement Charcoal Filter: 8-ECA-P320 (lasts up to 2 years with normal use)
  • Silver color
  • Warranty: 1 year limited

advantages

  • Compact.
  • Easy to clean, especially since the filter cone is located inside the carafe.
  • Removable water tank.
  • Capacity is 5 5 oz cups, a more convenient brew size.

Cons

  • No auto shutoff, so you have to remember to turn it off when you’re done, or you could have a “burnt” taste in your next cup.

Customer reviews and scores

This product averages more than 4 stars out of 5 on Amazon at the time of writing, from more than 520 reviewers. Most users love its compact design and size, as well as the fact that Zutto makes great-tasting coffee, including iced coffee.

The 5-cup capacity is also appreciated for the extra amount of coffee brewed.

One or two reviewers have complained about the bad taste of the coffee, but they are a small minority. You may be among those who do not read the User Manual properly, particularly when you are advised to clean the machine from time to time to preserve the flavor of the coffee.

It’s also important to allow the brew cycle to complete before pouring, to get the full flavor, and also to prevent grind from getting into the cone, pitcher, and cup.

Conclution

The Zutto is designed differently than almost any other coffee maker. It is compact, elegant and pleasing to the eye.

The Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker is also very easy to clean and maintain in top condition, leading some owners to continue using it every day for 5 years after purchasing it, a very rare achievement among coffee makers. .

The Great Gama Training – These 2 Magic Drills Made the Great Gama Undefeated

El Gran Gama never lost a match and has competed in over 5,000 wrestling matches. He to this day is considered by many to be the “GREATEST” fighter in history.

What is even more amazing is the Great Gama training.

Before I break it down, let me give you a quick idea of his fitness progress.

The strength of the Great Gama was noted at an early age. When he was just 10 years old, he had already competed in a national (Indian) strength and fitness competition. At this young age he was already capable of performing 500 bethaks and 500 dands. (a type of push-up exercise to strengthen the upper body)

He would also wrestle every day, although he did not compete until he was 15 years old.

What are these exercises you might ask?

Well, a bethak is similar to a full squat. You do a standing bethak… your feet at 45 degree angles. As you squat, roll onto the balls of your feet, lifting your heels off the floor. This is not an easy move, but it is a great leg builder/conditioner. You should do about 60 or 80 bethaks.

In the days of the Great Gama, known champions made between two and three thousand bethaks a day.

The wrestlers used to perform up to 1000 bethaks. At the very least, a fighter would make between five and eight hundred a day. (This is a great exercise and requires no equipment, just your own body weight.)

As he grew, the Great Gama’s training would increase to 40 fighters, 5,000 bethaks, and 3,000 dands. All this was done daily.

It’s easy to see why the Gran Gama was seen as unbeatable. This is a very tiring workout. These incredible training exercises were the foundation of all the great Indian wrestlers, and as writer Percy Longhurst wrote… “The Indian system of training has results beyond the development of great strength; it creates the most remarkable powers of endurance while while at the same time increasing agility”.

Finally, in 1909, the Grand Gama won the 1909 Indian wrestling championship title.

He then traveled throughout Europe with a circus of Indian wrestlers, taking on all comers. As a result, the Gran Gama defeated some of the best known wrestlers of the time.

He challenged many of the greats and was willing to give up his title if he was defeated. Some of these great champions were the Japanese judo champion Taro Miyake, Georges Hackenschmidt of Russia, and Frank Gotch of the United States.

All of them declined the Great Gama challenge. Are you ready to tackle the Great Gamma Training?

The myth of the bicycle helmet: true and not

Apparently, there’s a popular myth that city cyclists have been kicking around for years: that they’re more likely to get hit by a car if they wear a helmet than if they don’t. This myth so intrigued Ian Walker, a psychologist at the University of Bath, that he decided to put it to the test. Walker fitted his bike with a special ultrasonic sensor that would measure how close cars approached him as he commuted to and from work. To complete the experiment, he wore a helmet every other day and rode bareheaded every other day for two months.

Their findings may surprise drivers, but they won’t surprise anyone who has ever had reason to ride a bike on busy city streets: On average, when you were wearing a helmet, cars came 8.5 cm (3.35 cm) closer to each other. inches) to him and his bike than when he left his helmet at home. The helmet haters are vindicated and you can all throw away your nasty and annoying helmets.

Except they can’t, because the results are misleading. Bicycle helmets are not used to reduce the occurrence of accidents, they are used to reduce the impact of accidents and to prevent irreparable brain damage.

According to helmets.org statistics, bicycle helmets reduce the risk of head injury by approximately 85% and the risk of brain injury by 88%. They also provide a significant measure of protection for the face and forehead. Additionally, studies have shown that bareheaded cyclists are 14 times more likely to be killed in a crash than helmeted cyclists.

Before purchasing a helmet, cyclists should consider their cycling habits and needs. For example, are they road cyclists or off-road cyclists, riding mountain trails or city streets? Road helmets can be distinguished from off-road helmets by their longer, sleeker, more aerodynamic design with narrow air vents. Off-road helmet vents are wider because cooling is supposed to take precedence over speed.

It is very important that the helmets fit you well. Helmets must fit snugly on the riders head; They must be level and must not lean backwards or forwards. The helmet should sit approximately two finger widths above the eyebrows for maximum protection and a clear line of sight. Helmets should not sit loose on the riders head, should not roll or fall forward or backward, but should not be too tight or too tight. Helmets often come with extra sponges for riders who need to make the helmet smaller. Sponges already in the hull can be removed to make extra space if needed.

Studies have shown that children are more likely to wear bicycle helmets regularly if their parents model wearing helmets. About 98% of kids wear helmets if their parents do, but that number drops to just 30% when their parents ride bareheaded. Given the fact that children ages 10 to 14 have the highest rates of serious brain injuries sustained in bicycle accidents, parents have a good incentive to buckle up.

Helmets have a lifespan of around 4,500 miles (7,242 km), which translates to about 5 years (for average, non-professional recreational cyclists). Beyond that, the materials start to break down and the helmet’s effectiveness is compromised. Helmets should also be disposed of after an accident, because no matter how minor the damage appears to be, cracks in the plastic and dents in the protective foam will reduce the helmet’s protective ability.

Far from giving cyclists license to feel the wind in their hair, Walker’s experiment underscores the importance of wearing a helmet at all times. While doing the study on him, Walker was knocked off his bike twice, once by a truck and once by a bus, both times he was wearing his helmet and both times he got up with his skull and brain intact. Who needs more incentive than that?

Breakup Tips – Why Do Men Act Like Jerks After A Breakup?

It’s amazing, isn’t it? The difference between your boyfriend before the breakup and now since he dumped you. You thought you knew and loved him but now you really question everything you felt about the man. Ever since the relationship ended he has been a world class jerk to you. He has gone from being a kind and compassionate companion to someone you barely recognize. As much as you struggle to accept the end of your connection with him, you still wonder what’s going on. Why do men act like jerks after a break up? It’s a question women have been asking themselves for years. The answer can really stun you.

Just as your emotions are off the charts, your ex-boyfriend’s are too. This may be hard to believe given all the rude and obnoxious things you’ve been saying lately. You have to look past those thoughts to the heart of why he is behaving the way he is. Men are not naturally as adept at dealing with difficult emotions as women. Instead of sitting down and talking about something negative they feel, they prefer to lash out. Their anxiety and feeling of being emotionally vulnerable causes some men to lash out at the person who caused them to feel these difficult emotions. Hence the reason why you have become the verbal target of your ex boyfriend’s anger and disappointment.

If you left him, he may not give up his unattractive behavior for a while. He’s working through his emotions and until he does, he’s still wearing the cap of a big jerk. The only thing you can do to remedy it is to separate from him. By creating some distance, you’ll be showing him that you don’t find his behavior towards you at all acceptable and that you value yourself too highly to allow it to continue.

It is very important that you do not take their insults or rants personally. That’s virtually impossible if you still have some lingering feelings for the man, but it’s essential for your own worth not to put too much weight on what he says. Remember that he is desperately trying to hurt you in the same way that he has been hurt, and he will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens.

It’s the same reason some men hook up with a new woman right after the breakup of their long-term relationship. His reasoning behind this is twofold. A man who suffers after his relationship ends wants to drain those feelings and he can do this by reaching out to someone new. The other reason some guys do this is simply to hurt their ex girlfriend. They tell him that they have met a new woman who is everything his ex-girlfriend isn’t. They do this solely for the purpose of causing you distress. That’s an obvious idiot move and if you see it for what it is, you’ll be able to accept it much more easily.

Remember that their behavior is not a reflection of you or the time you spent together. Try to view her disrespectful antics as a sign that she is in deep emotional pain. If you do that, you can still see the good in him and remember the wonderful times you shared before things went wrong.

Cats and Dogs by Andy Warhol

In 1954 Andy Warhol, a renowned cat lover, published a series of 25 cat portraits in book form. Printed on limited edition, hand colored and watermarked Arches paper, the etchings were privately printed and made as a Christmas keepsake. He named his book 25 Cats Name Sam and One Blue Pussy. He originally intended it to say “…Named Sam”, but his mother, who did the lettering, omitted the “d” and Warhol thought the final version was fine.

In the 1950s, Warhol purchased a brownstone where he and his mother resided. And though they had had cats for twenty years, his series of cat portraits were not based on the cats he lived with and knew. Instead, they were based on the photographs of New York cat photographer Walter Chandoha.

In the 1970s, Warhol’s interest in cats waned and his interest in dogs increased. His boyfriend decided that they should have a short-haired Dachshund puppy. They named the dog “Archie”. Warhol was so taken with Archie that he became his alter ego. Because he held Archie up during interviews, when Warhol didn’t want to answer a particular question, he simply diverted the questions to Archie. Warhol took the dog everywhere: to his studio, to art openings, to dinner parties, to photo shoots, and to London when his work took him there.

When Archie was almost three years old, another Dachshund came onto the scene. They named this dog “Amos”. The three of them got along great. Amos and Archie ran around the house barking, chasing and playing with each other while providing constant entertainment for Warhol. Everything was fine, except now Archie would be staying at home with his new friend Amos instead of walking around town with Warhol.

In 1976, art collector Peter Brant commissioned Andy Warhol to paint his Cocker Spaniel named Ginger. Andy did two paintings of Ginger, as well as drawings. Peter Brant liked these so much that he thought Warhol should do a whole series of cat and dog drawings. Andy also liked the idea. He would open a new commissioned portrait area and give her the opportunity to use Archie and Amos in his work. All she lacked was a cat to fit the modeling mold.

Warhol liked to work from photographs. He had a hard time organizing his pets and keeping them still. He decided to use stuffed animals for his first cat and dog photos. Vincent Fremont at Artnet called the finished paintings of these stuffed creatures “creepy and macabre.” The paintings; however, the ones Warhol completed from photographs of cats and dogs are said to be vibrant and full of personality.

After a while, he began to dabble in other arts, including underground films that explored the shock value of nudity, greed, and sexuality. In 1976, after his hiatus from mainstream art pursuits, Peter Brant organized Warhol’s Cats and Dogs series to be exhibited in New York and London.

After Warhol’s period of drawing and painting cats and dogs, he began with artistic renderings of Campbell’s Soup cans and his focus on pop culture as seen in his Marilyn Monroe-centric works. After his mother’s death, Warhol became more distant from the public eye. Warhol left behind his journals which were later published in a book. While many say his input is “mundane,” those who study his art discover that he leaves behind a story: a postmodern story that is very much reflective of his beliefs, ties, and a life devoted to the exploratory arts.

Positioning Strategies for Real Estate Agents

I was recently asked to give a talk for my good friend and co-author

from our best selling book in Singapore titled Get Rich Now: 15

Strategies of a self-made millionaire, Dr. Dennis Wee. (Dr. Wee is one of

He wanted me to share some marketing secrets with his realtor.

agents and I was more than happy to oblige because I think there’s a lot

more than agents can do to position, brand and market their services.

Unfortunately, most agents, whether in real estate or financial services

(insurance) or any other industry, they tend to see themselves as a

salesperson This perception of themselves is limiting their growth and income!

Thinking that they are just sellers, they do not see the

possibilities to grow their careers into full-fledged businesses. exist

many more benefits for someone to think big and build a great business,

compared to just existing and making a living. Donald Trump said: “Yes

you’re going to be thinking, you might as well think big.” But that’s

Another topic for another session.

Here, I’ll show you some detailed examples of how an agent can

differentiate yourself using simple positioning and branding

strategies that I have used with other clients with great success.

Many people perceive that being an agent in any industry is like being

a salesman. Someone who is always competing with everyone else.

Thousands of vendors in the industry. To some extent it is correct.

Those other agents are also looking for the same deals you are. That

it’s a matter of who gets the deal first. so they go relentlessly

out there in cold perspective.

Now, I’m not a fan of cold prospecting. For me cold prospecting is

like banging your head against the wall, hoping it will crash down on you

it starts to bleed… most people end up very disappointed. Why

Do you think that new agents do not last long? I strongly suspect that it is because

they realized that their heads cannot go against the wall.

But there are ways to turn the table around. In my talks I like to ask

the audience: Would you rather work hard and prospect, OR

Would you rather let your prospects search for you?

The answer is obvious.

But more than having less work and an easier time, there is

deeper psychological advantages of being able to let your prospects seek you out

instead of cold prospecting them. Simply said, when you search

someone, you will be open to the person’s ideas, advice, and experience.

That’s the reason you’re looking for it in the first place: to be an expert.

tip.

There won’t be the wall of resistance you’ve grown used to when

cold prospect. In fact, now they are the ones who are jumping through hoops to

look for you in your domain. Man, it’s always exciting to talk about

this!

Trust me, it’s a whole new paradigm. Imagine you become a celebrity

overnight and people are doing everything they can to get in touch

with you. Think reality TV stars like Survivor and American

Idol… It’s that powerful!

So how can you achieve that?

Let’s look at a typical scenario:

You have probably opened your mailbox day after day just to

find it littered with stacks of brochures from various estate agents. Just

take a closer look. You will realize that they all claim to be the

“specialist” in the area. Now if everyone is a specialist then he does

does it matter who you call? Absolutely not!

“But I am different from the rest. I have more experience, quality,

etc…” protests.

Let me be honest. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your

background is. If prospects don’t recognize it right away, you’re just

like everyone else. It doesn’t matter how different you think you really are.

Repeat after me: if you’re like everyone else, you’re a nobody.

Remember: this is their perception, not yours.

So instead of being just another specialist in the area, be different. so far

I have not come across any agent who positions himself as the

specialist to serve “first time homebuyers”. Do you think that is powerful?

Absolutely!

First-time homebuyers are inexperienced. they don’t know what to do

wait, how will the entire purchase process be, how long

take, what possible setbacks can occur, etc. they are in a place where

they don’t know what they don’t know. Do you think they have different?

needs/concerns compared to those who have bought a home before? Of

the race! If you can win their trust, do you think they will seek

for someone else?

The point is this: you have the information that first-time buyers are

looking (in fact, all real estate agents should know these

information). But letting them know that you are the expert who can guide them

them through the entire process safely, in itself, will earn a closed

negotiate.

You may need to make some minor changes to the way you do things,

such as explaining the buying process in more depth, going through the

buyers, etc. But all this will help to consolidate its positioning and

brand as the expert to serve first time buyers. And once your mark

comes out, you will be busy with so many referrals for other people for the first time

Once you’ve established your brand, it’s easy to market your

What other positioning can differentiate you? What if:

Put another way, passive income is money you earn from a part-time job. It is different from active income, which is the money you earn from your job: salary.

The big question that people often ask is whether one can live off their passive income earnings. If you work with your passive income streams and build residual income streams, you may get to the point where your passive income is equal to what you earn at your day job. And that’s the goal, to build multiple streams of passive income so that you eventually equal or exceed what you earn at your day job, at which point you may have been told to achieve financial independence because then you are in control of your time. your money is coming in to pay the bills, even if you leave your main job and the system runs automatically, it just manages it.

Red Farmer Biography

One of the legendary original “Alabama Gang” Charles Lawrence “Red” Farmer was born on October 15, 1932 (his year of birth is uncertain) in Nashville, Tennessee, and moved to Miami, Florida with his mother in the middle of the decade. 1940’s after her parents estranged.

It wasn’t until 1958 that Red moved to Hueytown part-time with Bobbie and Donnie Allison, racing there during the summer months and returning in the winter with his family to work as an electrician. During this time, construction work was slow, and Red often had to support his wife, children, and mother-in-law with unemployment money. Finally, in 1962 Red took his family to live in Hueytown, Alabama and they settled there, considering it his hometown.

His first race was in 1948 at Opa-locka Speedway in Florida, driving an old 1934 Ford Coupe for a friend’s father. He won his first prize money of around $300 at Dixie Speedway in Midfield in a 1936 hit and the next day won again at the show in Montgomery, giving him around $600, giving him more money than he had ever had. in a while.

After moving to Hueytown, Red continued to work as an electrician until, after a few years, he quit to focus on racing full time, beginning an incredible journey for the next sixty years. Ray has amassed an incredible estimated 700 to 900 dirt, asphalt and superspeedway victories, winning the NASCAR Modified championship in 1956 and then taking three Late Model Sportsman (now Busch Series) titles in 1967-70-71. He was voted NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver four times and has been inducted into the Talladega/Texaco Walk of Fame, the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame, and the Alabama Hall of Fame. the Fame of International Motorsports.

Farmer is the 1999 recipient of the Alabama Governor’s Award, given annually to an individual or organization for their contribution to auto racing. Perhaps the most prestigious award Farmer has won was being named in 2000 as one of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers of All Time.

He has been married to his wife Joan for over 55 years and has three children, two daughters, Cindy and Bonnie, and a son, Michael. He also has nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Red is still active as a NASCAR racing driver and regularly competes at Talladega Short Track and also works as a consultant with the ARCA team.

Alabama Gang legend Red Farmer will be honored at the track where he still races at 77 years of age. It has been announced that the Talladega Short Track will host the Red Farmer Classic on May 15, 2011 at the Eastaboga dirt track across from the Talladega Super. -Speedway. In honor of Red’s number 97, the super late-model race will be 97 laps and pay $9,700 to win. Red responded to this honor by saying, “To have a race named after him ‘is quite an honor, especially since they want to do it every year'” when asked during an interview for Stock Car Magazine. When asked if any tracks stood out as your favorite Red responded;

“Any track I win at is my favorite. But I guess Daytona and Talladega were two of my favorite tracks. That’s unusual for a short-track driver. Of course, I loved Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery, tracks we raced at on Thursday, Friday and Saturday”. for 20 years. We were racing Huntsville on Thursday night, Birmingham on Friday night and Montgomery on Saturday night. Then we were going to look for a great career somewhere. Sometimes we’d go as far as Manassas, Virginia, and race on Sunday, or somewhere in Tennessee. We ran four nights a week many times. Basically, I’ve always been a short-track driver, but I like Daytona and Talladega. I like super speeds.”

They asked him if he preferred dirt or asphalt tracks and he answered;

Nothing but dirt. That’s something I really enjoy the most. It’s much more fun. I have two dirt cars, Super Late Model dirt cars, right now. I have a GRT and a CJ Rayburn chassis. I’m building a new engine for next year. I will start my 58th year in 2006. My grandson has a car. We are building you a box engine class to start running. I don’t even care about short track asphalt racing anymore. For me it’s boring compared to a good gravel race. You’re going to watch a World of Outlaws Super Late Model race with Scott Bloomquist, Billy Moyer, Rick Eckerd, Darrell Lanigan and Dale McDowell and those guys race on a half mile dirt track and you’ll never see another asphalt race again. . You see those guys put on a show and that’s what I really enjoy. I love dirt tracks sideways, sideways, running uphill and it’s so much more fun for me to run than asphalt. On tarmac you can set up a car and come back the following year and never have to change it. It’s the same every week. But you go to a dirt track and you have to work on it all the time. One time it’s wet, other times it’s dry and slippery, other times it’s black and you have to work continuously all night to keep up. It’s much more interesting to me.
