how to trust again

I got the following question about how to trust again:

“My husband and I remarried after we both got divorced and went through a series of relationships. I have been hurt a lot, but I tried to end all relationships peacefully, so when I met my husband I felt alive and loved him.” I saw him as my right. great man. And he’s actually great in a lot of ways. But when I found some of his communications with his ex-wife and ex-girlfriends, I found out that he lied to them a lot. And sometimes he lied to me too. I know our The relationship is kind of control-resistance. I’m trying to control and he’s trying to resist. And I told him I don’t trust him anymore and I don’t respect him anymore for everything he’s done to other women and to me. Because he lied, I felt that I had the right to judge him and make him feel guilty for what he had done to me and other women, so he told me that he felt so bad about himself and that he is just as bad as what I told him I feel like it’s his problem and I cannot respect a man who is not responsible for what What is he doing. month and he scolded and insulted him. I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I’ve lost confidence in him. Through the Inner Bonding process I am trying to recover myself and regain my love, respect and trust for him. My question is how can I restore all this? And how can I trust that I won’t be the victim of him in the future?”

And another question about how to trust again, from another woman:

“Being direct, honest, and loyal are important attributes to me and to others. Once the ‘bridge of trust’ has been significantly burned down (i.e., infidelity in a marriage or an intimate relationship), it can truly be restored.” trust when it seems to be more important to one partner? How does the betrayed respond when the other apologizes but thinks an apology is enough? How do you prevent this feeling of mistrust from affecting future relationships?”

Learning to trust again requires working on two levels:

1. The first thing to do is your own inner work. You need to do enough Inner Bonding to become a trustworthy loving adult for your own inner child. This means:

  • Accept that you have no control over whether or not someone betrays you again, and stop trying to control the other person.
  • The total mourning for the loss of confidence.
  • Learn to trust your own inner knowing. As you develop your trust in your feelings and your Guide, you are more equipped to sense the lack of integrity in others.
  • Being willing to lose the other person instead of losing yourself.
  • Be willing to take whatever loving action you need to take on your own behalf.

2. The second level of work to learn to trust again is relationship work:

  • Both you and your partner should attend couples therapy to fully understand your relationship system. Lying is often the result of one person trying to control and the other resisting or fearing honesty. Both of you must do the work of healing old fears and beliefs and developing a loving and trustworthy adult within you who can be honest instead of a liar. You can never trust the other person not to lie or cheat on you if your own inner healing work is not a priority.
  • Apologies are never enough. Apologies mean nothing without the inner work to heal underlying fears and false beliefs that led to lying or cheating.

It is unrealistic to trust again without this inner and relationship work. The wounded self in all of us is not trustworthy and can act in very damaging ways when there is no strong, loving adult in charge of our actions. For trust to flourish in your relationship, both of you must become loving and trusting adults with yourselves and each other.

Simple Secrets of How to Copy Wii Games

Highly addictive, great fun, and best done in a dark room. Sounds dirty, but this is the world of a Wii fanatic. Ever since Nintendo released its Wii console, the gaming world has been turned upside down and even hardcore PlayStation fans like myself have made the leap to the lighter side of gaming.

If you’re as passionate about Wii games as I am, you probably know how expensive this hobby can be. In addition to the console, games and accessories can cost thousands of dollars, and if you’re a parent, you better be careful what you unleash when you buy that first Wii game. There will likely be 10 or more Wii games by this time next year.

One of the most controversial issues with console gaming is the whole issue of copying. Is it legal, isn’t it, should you, shouldn’t you? It’s a bit of a gray area because when you buy the game you should be entitled to make a backup. Or not? Game makers are waging a constant battle against pirated copies flooding the black market at a fraction of the cost and that’s where the problem lies.

When I buy a music CD, I immediately convert it to MP3 and transfer it to my iPod. I want the CD, because it is part of my collection and having the original CD is much more valuable than just a direct download. With Wii and other console games this is even more relevant. Having the original “box” has all the pamphlets, instructions, and other great stuff that avid gamers look for. Making a copy of the original Wii game is the smart thing to do.

These games are incredibly fragile and having to buy the same game twice is just stupid. Minor scratches and even simply exposing Wii game discs to too much sun can damage them beyond repair. That is why I am a staunch supporter of backing up all my games and keeping them safe. Games have a fun way of going “walkie” and with all your friends and family borrowing games, before you know it half your collection is somewhere else.

So how do you copy Wii games? There are many methods out there and many forum discussions go on and on about how to do it. The truth is, you don’t need to break your console to make or play backup games. Be careful. Breaking the console open will automatically void your warranty and in the process may even break the console.

There are many software packages out there. Some free, some paid. They all have their faults and difficulties. The free ones are usually 3 or 4 different software packages that you have to use at different stages of the copying process and this can be a bit of a hassle. Most of the time, something goes wrong somewhere in the process and you end up spending a lot of time extracting massive files to your hard drive.

Paid software makes the process much easier, and since the software is quite cheap, it is well worth the investment. I have tried most of these packages and only found one that is really worth it. It is the only package that is an all-in-one method of copying a Wii game. Point and click without the guesswork and without having to hack “unbreakable” copy protection.

Basically, all you have to do is remove the data from the disc, dump it to your computer’s hard drive, and then use the software to copy it back to a blank disc using your computer’s DVD drive. The trick is to delete the data and then copy it back so that the Wii console reads the disc as “original”.

And that is. You can use the freeware, but in my experience it’s not worth the time and effort. I have created a tutorial on my website to show you how to copy Wii games. Don’t open your console. Stay safe and legal, and above all, enjoy your Wii.

Earring cards – How to design and make your own

Your earring cards can help you sell more of your handmade jewelry. They should complement the style of your jewelry, display your work nicely, and answer questions from your customers about the earrings they liked.

Although you can buy ready-made earring cards from most jewelry suppliers, I find it much more professional to make your own. Your unique custom earring packaging adds a high-quality, handcrafted touch to your jewelry line, especially when paired well with your other jewelry packaging.

Earring cards are easy to design and make, or they can be made for you. And you can make them for pennies apiece—a good investment considering the impression they make.

What information should your earring cards have?

* Information about your jewelry business –

Somewhere on the card, be sure to include the name of your jewelry business, along with all of your contact information: your website URL, email address, and phone number.

Also, if you are active on any of the major online social networks, you may want to add your profile(s) to your jewelry packaging, as many of your customers are probably active there as well and prefer to communicate with you. that way.

You may need to put your contact information on the back of the card to prevent the front text from distracting customers from the earrings.

Your contact information helps customers feel like you’re a legitimate business that will be around for a while. It implies that you stand behind your jewelry and that you can be contacted if the customer has a problem with your products.

Additionally, customers often keep personalized earring cards and jewelry tags, usually by hiding them somewhere in their jewelry box. And when a customer has your contact information handy, they are more likely to contact you or shop on your website when they want to buy more jewelry or have custom pieces made.

Even when customers misplace their business card, they tend to keep the unique, personalized earring display cards that come with their handmade jewelry!

* The jewelry components you used in the earrings –

Your earring cards should also list the materials (all beads, stones, clay, metals, paper, etc.) used to create the pair of earrings dangling on that card.

This information is especially important for people who have metal sensitivities and need to be sure of the metal they will use in their earlobes.

* Your Logo (Optional) –

If you have a logo design for your jewelry business, I recommend including it somewhere on all of your jewelry packaging. Helps create customer awareness and recognition for your jewelry line.

What size earring cards do you need?

Before you design your earring cards, carefully measure your earring displays, as well as the bags or boxes that you will place your earrings in when they are sold.

I found out the hard way that measuring a little ahead of time can save you a lot of frustration after making your earring cards!

More tips for creating your own earring cards

Be sure to use the heaviest cardstock that will work in your printer or copier. Heavier paper will help your cards survive handling at jewelry shows and house parties.

Use only acid-free paper or cardstock for all your earring cards and jewelry tags. Anything else will cause the metals in your jewelry to tarnish more quickly.

Home Kitchen

The pros and cons of different types of sinks

Sinks seem to be one of the most basic things in the home, office, hotel or any establishment. While there are several different types of sinks that have their own names, many people often refer to them by the common name that is sink. However, little do they know that the different types of sinks have their own name and their own set of advantages and disadvantages.

There are 7 different types of sinks available on the market today. You can choose any one of them depending on the space available in your bathroom and who will be using it.

1. Countertop washbasin
As its name suggests, this sink is designed to sit above the counter. Most bathrooms in theaters and hotels only have countertop sinks. Sinks of this type are also known as vessel sinks.
Advantage: These sinks are completely exposed above the counter unlike drop-in sinks and others. Therefore, they are able to create a strong statement in your bathroom and turn heads. Also, these basins are quite deep and therefore can hold a lot of water.
Cons: Since the sink sits completely above the counter, great care must be taken when finalizing the counter height to ensure the sink is at the desired height and not above or below.

2. Top mount sink
This sink is also designed to sit on top of the counter. However, only the rim of the sink is above the counter, while the rest is below. The brim can be thin or a bit thicker depending on your choice.
Advantage: Sinks in this category can go well with countertops made of almost any material, including wood and laminate. This is simply because the entire cut is covered by the sink and therefore the chances of the counter being damaged by the water become nil.
Cons: With such a sink, it is not possible to clean countertop water directly into the sink.

3. Sink under cover
Sinks of this type are placed completely under the counter, including the edge.
Advantage: The water spill on the counter can be cleaned directly in the sink.
Cons: These sinks are usually very expensive and their assembly is only possible with a solid surface such as stone.

4. Wall sink
Wall-mounted sinks do not need any countertop to stand on. They can be fixed directly on the wall while giving a minimalist feel to a room.
Advantage: Since this sink doesn’t need any counter, it can save you quite a bit of floor space, making your bathroom look bigger.
Cons: In the absence of a counter, there will be no storage space unless you install some cabinets.

5. Lavatory sink
These slim, streamlined and elegant sinks are often seen in hotel and restaurant bathrooms.
Advantage: These sinks are very suitable for vanities or bathrooms with little space since they take up very little space.
Cons: The drawback of this type of sink is that it is only suitable for vanities. It is very shallow and therefore cannot hold water.

6. Pedestal sink
Wall mounted sinks with their own pedestal are called pedestal sinks. They are also known as freestanding sinks as they do not need to be mounted on a wall or countertop.
Advantage: Freestanding sinks hide any plumbing and also look very aesthetically appealing.
Cons: These sinks are usually expensive compared to other sinks. Also, cleaning around a pedestal sink can be quite tricky due to the space between the pedestal and the wall.

7. Semi-recessed
If your bathroom is limited in space but you still want some storage space, you can opt for a semi-recessed sink.
Advantage: Such a sink sits at the front of the countertop, allowing you to have much shallower cabinets. This will free up floor space and give you enough storage space to store your cosmetics and other bathroom essentials.
Cons: Since there is no counter around the front of the sink, the chances of water splashing onto the floor are very high.

Each sink has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Depending on the available space in your room and your style, you can choose a sink after evaluating its pros and cons.

Stunning model car display ideas

Whether you’re a die-hard model car collector or just a car enthusiast who has a favorite make and model, you’re probably well aware of the fact that diecast collectibles aren’t just simple toys.

Instead, diecast cars are popular collectibles for both kids and adults alike due to their highly detailed designs, intricate details, and full-scale replicas of history’s most sought-after cars.

Due to the precious nature of these replica cars, collectors and hobbyists alike need to have a stylish space to display their collections without fear of damage.

Consider these awesome ideas for displaying a model car collection in your home or office.

#1 – Buy a car show

Buying a diecast car display is a great idea if you’re looking for something a little more traditional with little work involved.

These screens come pre-built and ready to load as soon as they arrive. Plus, they can enhance any room in the house with their elegant glass features and built-in lighting components.

#2 – Use a vanity makeup case

If you’re looking for display ideas that are a bit more modern and space-saving, a vanity case is a great idea. These cases feature high-end finishes and stylish design features that allow them to fit nicely into any room in your home.

Additionally, this display case can be decorated with lace or other visually appealing materials to ensure a stunning display that will not only be safe for your diecast cars, but will also help you keep them organized.

#3 – Use an old bookcase

If you have an old bookshelf that isn’t being used, consider repurposing it as a model car showcase. Most die-cast cars are small enough to fit on shelves, and many models come with their own stands to ensure secure standing.

While this display may require a bit of rearranging, it is ultimately the most cost-effective solution for those who want to display their collection on a budget.

#4 – Use a picture frame display case

If you have a collection of model cars that needs to be displayed in a more visible space, display cases with picture frames are a fantastic idea. You can also paint picture frames or add lace as an added design element that will impress any collector!

#5 – Renovate a wall space

A model car display can also be created by taking advantage of a blank wall in your home. Consider hiring a professional contracting service to hollow out a wall space so it can be custom designed with shelving to display your collection. This is a great idea if you are already updating the interiors of your home.

lighting considerations

Consider where the exhibition display will ultimately be so that you can ensure ample lighting for the display area. Ideal lighting solutions include:

  • soft track lighting
  • LED base
  • colored rotating lighting

Whether you want something traditional or new and elegant, displays can be created in a variety of styles. But no matter what you decide, make sure your model cars are always protected from excess dirt, debris, and moisture to prevent damage to your prized collectibles.

Video encoding demystified

What is an encoder?

When you want to put a video on a web page, the video needs to be in a particular format. The procedure to get the video in that format is called encoding. This article will examine the main video formats and encoders that are used to create those formats. The article will also discuss live video encoding. Finally, we’ll look at a couple of free services on the web that will code both on-demand and live.

flash-video

One of the most popular formats on the web today is Flash video. The .FLV file extension is associated with Flash video. Most cameras, camcorders, and video editing suites do not natively output .FLV files. When choosing to use an encryption software package, consider what you’re getting for the price. Adobe includes Flash Video Encoder with CS3/CS4, it’s essentially free. It does a good job, but you have limited options when using that encoder. Consider some other commercial software encoders. Check out Sorenson Squeeze, On2Flix Pro, and for the true pro, try Rhozet Carbon Coder). All of these packages offer greater flexibility and control of your media. The packages mentioned above also support output to many other formats like AVI, MOV, WMV and others. There are also countless free, standalone, and shareware services available to encode video. These products will be fine for low resolution, low bitrate video, but will have many limitations. For commercial websites, I wouldn’t recommend using any of these simple products.

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use encryption solution that won’t break the bank, try “Encrypt dot com”. I have spoken with the CTO of this company. He tells me that this service uses different back-end technologies to handle different types of encoding jobs. So, depending on the formats, you will have access to high-end encoding technology. The service is easy to use. You can upload your video to them or they can come to you to get it. Either way, you get a quality product without shelling out a large amount of startup capital.

H.264

H.264 is a codec, not exactly a format. It’s basically MPEG-4. Therefore, you will find many different formats that have H.264 encoding. You’ll find H.264 wrapped around .MOV, F4V, and even MP4 files. H.264 is a compression method that generally produces higher quality video at lower bit rates. Most people today associate H.264 with HD video. This is for a good reason, as I can get better looking videos in a smaller file. H.264 has its drawbacks; it requires more computing power to encode and decode and may not be as compatible as other formats. I wouldn’t let that stop you from experimenting with it though.

windows media video

WMV has been around for a while. Some argue that it is a superior format to Flash. About a year ago, I would have agreed. WMV was more stable and could give you excellent image quality. Microsoft supports the VC-1 codec in WMV. VC-1 was the codec used in the HD-DVD format, so you can expect great things from WMV with VC-1 encoding. WMV’s biggest disadvantage over Flash is compatibility. You’ll be hard-pressed to find an out-of-the-box MAC or Linux box that supports WMV video. Also, Flash allows you to create custom players to present your video and WMV uses Windows Media Player.

To combat these shortcomings, Microsoft has developed Silverlight. Silverlight is a platform-independent product that allows you to create custom playback applications. It also runs on MAC and Linux and will support playing WMV files on those operating systems. See http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight, Microsoft may soon support H.264 encoded video in a Silverlight environment.

MS Expression Encoder

Just for your peace of mind, the 2008 Olympic Games were delivered in Silverlight. Visit www.nbcolympics.com Many will agree that the 2008 Games went off without a hitch. You can see that although Silverlight is a newer format, it has been tested by over 70 million streams!

hardware encoding

The software is good, the hardware is GREAT! When you want the best possible encoding with the least amount of hassle, consider a hardware encoding device. These devices are critical when it comes to live encoding.

See these companies:

Vbrick, Digital Rapids, Newtek, Viewcast, Ripcode

All of these compete in roughly the same space. You should compare features and prices. I can tell you that Digital Rapids is very prominent in space. They provide encoding hardware for some of the biggest names in media and have powered some of the biggest online events in history. The RipCode device is unique in that it will do the encoding on the fly. So your video can change bitrates, deminsions or formats as needed. You would only need to have 1 master file and let the RipCode device change it as needed.

live coding

Digital Rapids Touch Stream Device

If you plan to deliver live video to more than a few viewers at a time, you should consider using a CDN. Think of your Internet connection in your office or study. If you have a 3Mbps upstream and you encode at about 500Kbps then you will only be able to support about 6 concurrent viewers. Not exactly a record! Most CDNs that support live streaming can support hundreds to thousands of concurrent viewers. President Obama’s inauguration in 2009 drew between 6 and 9 million viewers online. The networks that carried those streams used a CDN.

For Flash Live Encoding, you can use Adobe’s Flash Live Encoder and a high-end computer. This product is fine for most consumer applications. You are really limited by the power of your computer. There is no Mac version available, so you need to be on a Windows machine. A better option for Flash Live encoding is On2Flix Live encoding software or the Sorenson Squeeze Live product. Both will offer higher quality video and more flexibility. You are still at the mercy of your computer. So I suggest you get the biggest and baddest computer you can when using a software live encoder. Throw in as much CPU, RAM, and video memory as possible. Please use a SATA or Firewire hard drive running at least 7200RMP.

You should also consider how you connect your camera source to the computer. Do not use a simple commercial webcam or analog to USB device. These are fine for home movies, but for professional video you should look at a Prosumer HD camcorder or a high-end encoding capture card like the Viewcast cards.

Copy Code Encoder

For a hardware live encoding solution, check out Digital Rapids, Vbrick or Newtek products. Digital Rapids has a cool new product called the TouchStream Appliance. It is a portable stand-alone hardware encoder perfect for field productions.

free coding

There are several services that will convert videos for free. Do a Google search for “Free Encoding” or “convert to FLV” or “convert to WMV”. You can also download Microsoft video encoder and convert it to WMV yourself. Most video editing packages will export to WMV, MOV, and MPG formats.

Free live coding

For live encoding there are only a few free options.

  • Flash Media Live Encoder
  • Windows Media Encoder
  • For Silverlight encoding, try the Windows Media Encoder replacement is Expression

try it yourself

If you want to live webcast, try these free services. They allow you to create your own channel, store and play videos on demand and live. They are really great!
