Amazing Shrink Food – Where’s the Burger?

Has anyone else noticed that the food is shrinking? Add a whole new meaning to cutting out or moving away from the table. “Let’s say the economy is not only reducing what Americans eat every day, restaurants have also teamed up to reduce the size of America. The food, plates, cups and glasses are shrinking. A glass of water to the waitress unless I ask for it What’s up with that?

Nowadays, almost all menus have “minis”, those little hamburgers that are served with french fries or onion strips. And it doesn’t stop there; we have mini turkey burgers, mini fish sandwiches, is there anything that doesn’t come as mini? Menus are expanding to offer a two-for-one entrée loaded with small bites of food cut into cubes. What will you come up with next, dessert shooters? Oh, it’s true; the neighborhood restaurant already has them. Is it just me or are the Starbucks cups shrinking again? A recent survey by the National Restaurant Association reported that miniature desserts will be a new product in the future. The idea of big, flashy desserts is going to be a thing of the past. What will the Americans do?

The solution is to get out your little black book and start jotting down the names and numbers of those famous home bakers. You know those women, in church or school, who are known for their Key Lime Pound, double Dutch chocolate brownies, and buttermilk cake. We are going back in time to the old days, when life was simple and good food had nothing to do with a television commercial. I think a lot of this good old-fashioned nostalgia got buried in living a hurried lifestyle. For many it will be difficult to understand and recognize, but those days are over. We are forced to go back to the old days, when you paid cash for everything, your neighbor would leave a bag of tomatoes from his garden on the back porch and you would pour freshly squeezed juice into popsicle molds to make treats for the kids.

Is that really such a bad thing? The idea of having a tech-driven world that gives you information in the blink of an eye, but makes you wait for the cow to be milked, seems a bit strange, but we may be heading in that direction. There was a time when you could only drink a 6.5-ounce contoured Coke bottle. A homemade cake served 12 to 16 people and a heaping scoop of homemade ice cream was considered the icing on the cake. Wow, times have changed.

The idea that food shrinks is not so bad; the horror comes from the prices that are imposed on these bite-sized nibbles of sustenance. Personally, I think it all started with Tapas, a brilliant way to charge disgustingly sinful amounts of money for bits of food, but that’s for another time. Well now it’s too late and given the choice between “shrinking the food” and doing it myself, now I choose “DIY”. I’ll make homemade pizza dough and leave the soda alone by substituting “freshly squeezed” lemonade for good weather. Enough is enough. When do we stand up and say what Howard Beale (Peter Finch) sang so eloquently on “Network”? “Am I mad as hell and am I not going to take this anymore?” Unfortunately, not today!

Beijing buffet

The variety of foods that can be enjoyed in San Francisco is remarkably wide: Italian, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Japanese, Malay, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. However, I cannot list them all. Even compared to New York City, San Francisco’s variety of food does not lose its excellence.

Plus, the cost of enjoying these fabulous meals is incredibly reasonable. I consider buffet-style restaurants to be the most profitable. About two years ago, we found an excellent Asian cuisine buffet restaurant, the Beijing Buffet, near the San Francisco airport. I referenced several rating sites before writing this article, and the ratings varied from person to person. However, the overall rating was average. My own experience at this restaurant has been good, and my wife and mother-in-law love it too. Because my wife is a Chinese-American who was born in China, her sense of taste for authentic Chinese food is trustworthy.

My wife and I like this place for the size of the buffet and the variety of foods on offer. There are five large buffet tables that keep food warm. Along the right wall of the square restaurant is the sushi, sashimi, shrimp, crab and fresh seafood counter. The other counter carries hot and cold Asian and European desserts. At the end of the desert counter, there are ice cream dispensers offering the following flavors: vanilla, chocolate, or a mix of both.

Each buffet table has its own food categories:
1) hot vegetables and cold salads,
2) fish and shellfish,
3) Chinese and American style poultry,
4) fried rice, noodles and congee, and
5) Decals of steamed, fried or boiled pots and Chinese-style meat buns.

Some restaurants offer a regular menu in addition to a buffet. Beijing Buffet does not have a regular menu. However, a barbecue bar is part of the buffet service offered by this restaurant. They have a buffet menu for both lunch and dinner. My wife is not very enthusiastic about barbecue, but I love it. It’s like ordering an omelette to your liking during breakfast in a hotel. The buffet includes options of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, fish, vegetables, tomatoes, bean sprouts, and more. Although some buffet restaurants do not have lobsters or crabs for lunch, this place offers all kinds of food for both lunch and dinner.

You can also ask the chef to make your dish more spicy, sweet or salty. Mr. Choi, who works in the BBQ section, became my friend because he thinks I ask for more options in my food than other people. If you like grilled fish or giant shrimp, you can ask to have it skewered. If you want to eat Chinese buns, which are called pao, Mr. Choi can grill them for you. He makes pao only with pork, pao of pork and vegetables, and pao only with vegetables, or pao dulce.

Finally, you can order grilled Chinese egg noodles with your choice of meat, seafood, vegetables, or a combination of these options. You can also choose thick egg noodles, thin egg noodles, or rice noodles.

Some cool features of Google Play gaming services

Google has launched many services for its Android users. Google Play Games is one of the services that an Android user can use to save their game progress and compete with their friends through Google+ social networks. Since its inception, the platform has become a mature system and allows users to perform many activities that will be developed in the following paragraphs.

Features of Google Play gaming services that are interesting:

The basic functionality of Google Play Games is like Apple Game Center. This social gaming feature enables cloud saves, public leaderboards, multiplayer, anti-piracy, and achievements to be logged. These features are a great addition for game developers, according to reports from a mobile app development company., as they allow game developers to use the Play Games SDK with their game and do not have to develop the features themselves.

Some of the outstanding functions of the service are:

·Achievements: The games we play contain many achievements that can be unlocked as we progress. These features keep the game interesting, but many developers refrain from adding these features because they fear that the sheer size of the resulting game will discourage people from downloading it. With the Achievements feature of Google Play Games, the developer can use the achievements to their advantage without having to add them to their original game, says a prominen.t Android application development company.

·Saved games: Cloud saves are another great feature of Google Play services. We often face software problems and other problems with our phone and there are times when we change our phone. By doing so, we lose all our progress in the games we used to play and have to start from scratch. The cloud save feature makes sure that our game progress is linked to our Gmail id and we can resume the game from where we left off, every time.

·Missions and leaderboards: Another cool feature is the availability of quests and leaderboards. Leaderboards tell us how we are doing compared to our social circle on Google+. The missions are competitions and online challenges that allow us to play in multiplayer mode with our device.

So, start using Google Play gaming services and enjoy these features as you venture into the digital world to prove yourself.

Business

Reducing operating costs for your start-up is essential for longevity

Managing cash flow is already a challenge for startups, but COVID-19 is not making things better. With unemployment rising and people spending less money on certain goods or services, new businesses are likely to suffer during this time. However, reducing operating expenses can help a startup stay afloat until operations return to normal.

Lowering overall operating costs can certainly affect your bottom line, especially when the impact of COVID-19 is being felt. Plus, re-evaluating your budget and allocating funds to different operations can keep essential parts of your business running. Read on to learn more about reducing your startup operating expenses while staying productive during COVID-19.

Check your budget with a new lens

When you created your budget for the year, the coronavirus was unlikely to be on your mind. And, with updates and changes happening so quickly over the past few months, 2020 can seem like a great catch-up game. Now that shelter-in-place ordinances are being lifted and people are venturing back out into the world, it’s a good time to reassess your operating budget.

The revenue projections are likely in need of an update, and your outlook for 2021 is different now than it was a few months ago. From lower sales figures to higher churn rates, you need to assess your budget priorities. However, it is important to avoid simply cutting back on your budget. A smart assessment of the numbers can indicate that some areas of your business are improving during this time.

Renegotiate contracts

The impact of COVID-19 is being felt across the country. If your business has changed, chances are that other people related to you have done the same. You may be able to renegotiate the terms or contracts during this time to give yourself some breathing room. From reducing office costs to eliminating subscriptions, there are a few steps you can take to avoid waste.

Office space

If your company has moved into remote work, chances are you are paying for empty office space. Your landlord may be willing to negotiate your terms due to unprecedented circumstances. In some cases, shelter-in-place orders may prohibit you from working in the office entirely. Review your contract to see if there are any provisions for a situation where the office space is not usable.

Subscriptions

Your startup likely has multiple active subscriptions. Whether you rely on monthly professional services like IT support or SaaS licenses to run your business, there may be room for cutbacks. Try to negotiate with your partners or vendors to lower your subscription costs. You may have licenses that you are no longer using or cancellation fees that can be renegotiated.

Deferred payments

In cases where you can’t cut operating costs in numbers, ask for deferred payments. Lengthening your payment cycle can temporarily improve your cash flow and help you get through a losing streak.

Eliminate non-essential tools

When you reevaluate your budget, you may find that you are biased in one area. Go line by line to review the various tools and services your business uses, determine which ones are essential and which items can be cut. Reviewing financial statements is a great way to visualize where your budget is going, rather than guessing. You may have duplicate tools, tools that are no longer used, or items that can be replaced with a less expensive alternative.

Cut unnecessary licenses

Reviewing all the tools and services used by your team might also highlight which services are over-licensed. Are all licenses being used or can some be removed? Plus, you may be paying for additional features that you could do without, at least for now. Eliminating your subscription level or reducing the number of licenses could help lower operating costs.

Cut paper

While it may seem small, not using paper can help your bottom line. Businesses spend a lot on paper, printers, and ink every year. If your team works remotely, there are fewer reasons to use paper. When you return to the office, you can continue the habits formed during the quarantine to reduce the overall use of paper in your business.

Stay flexible

Things are likely to continue to change as we learn more about COVID-19 and its overall impact. There may be unlikely opportunities to reduce your operating expenses over time. The unpredictability of COVID-19 combined with the ever-changing nature of startups makes it important to stay vigilant. You may find yourself considering new or innovative ideas that you may not have thought of before.

Evaluate more often

Regularly evaluating your budget and outlook can help you stay more agile and flexible. As your startup changes and evolves, your operating costs must follow. Set up more frequent evaluations to stay on top of your operating costs and make any necessary adjustments.

Pause large investments or projects

For many startups, cash flow is limited. COVID-19 is suspending major purchases and projects until companies can stabilize. Rather than viewing these breaks as losses, pay attention to the money you are saving and the cash you are making available.

New equipment

Were you planning to upgrade everyone’s laptops this year or buy a new phone system? COVID-19 may not be the right time to make major investments, such as buying new equipment. Instead, limit yourself to buying only what you need. Look for reconditioned or second-hand items when possible to save on operating costs.

Marketing Initiatives

Unless your marketing initiatives get a positive ROI, it may be time to stop big projects. Rather than implementing pre-scheduled campaigns, re-evaluate your marketing calendar to determine what will move the needle on your business. If your customers are pushing for purchasing decisions, now may not be the time to invest in sales and marketing.

Use free trial periods

If you absolutely must purchase a new service or equipment, take advantage of the free trial periods. Make sure the vendor is the right partner for you by testing your product or service in advance. In some cases, vendors will negotiate during the trial period whether you really want to buy.

Reduce payroll

Finally, reducing payroll can help lower operating costs. Many startups see this as a last resort because it has a huge impact on their operational capabilities, as well as the individual lives of employees. However, in some cases, it is a necessary measure.

Implement a hiring freeze

You can take steps to reduce operating costs by implementing a hiring freeze. Avoid occupying positions unless necessary. Your team may be overstretched, but you can avoid eliminating current positions this way.

Hire

Instead of hiring for new positions, hire when possible. For example, you may need financial guidance during COVID-19. You can hire a freelance CFO to work part-time at a lower cost than hiring an executive-level position. Companies like K-38 Consulting provide world-class financial advisory services, and you only pay for services when you need them.

Increase your height at any age with the right nutrition, sleep and exercise plan

Believe it or not, it is possible to grow taller at any age. Recent research from Harvard University has found that eating essential amino acids can lead to increased growth hormone reproduction in the pituitary gland, ultimately leading to taller height.

There are some exceptional techniques to grow taller naturally without the need for expensive surgeries and magical night pills.

Sleep to grow taller

You need to lose mattresses and pillows, instead put a cloth sheet and sleep on it. The ground is straight and hard, which will straighten and strengthen your bones tenfold. When you wake up, studies from McGill University have shown that people who wake up from sleeping on mattresses and pillows are, on average, 1 to 2 inches taller during the first 30 minutes. Those same people who sleep only on a mattress and without a pillow add half an inch more than with the previous method. Sleeping on a hard floor with a pillow will add half an inch to an inch and a half. Removing the pillow and mattress will help you gain up to 4.4 inches in overall height. If you sleep properly, you can gain an extra non-permanent 4.4 inches height in the first 30 minutes from the moment you wake up from a long night’s sleep. These studies were based on a 30-day treatment. After just thirty days, you can gain up to 6 inches or more in height if you sleep alone. To maintain the height gained from corrected sleep, you must exercise and eat properly.

How to prevent the height gained from falling asleep?

Eat and exercise

One must eat a large amount of vitamins and minerals every day to repair muscles, bones, nerve cells, and tissues. Stretching on a hanging bar is the best way to permanently gain more inches to your height, in addition to what you gain while you sleep.

What foods are good for increasing height?

Amino acids

Specifically, L-Arginine, L-Ortinine, and L-Methionine are the most necessary amino acids in the body for growth in all major developmental areas of the human body.

Feeling short and being short is a thing of the past, as there are many techniques to grow taller. Eat meat and eggs as a very good source of amino acids that will help you absorb the necessary proteins through this process. Nuts, seeds, and milk are also essential in this diet to grow taller, even if they have far fewer nutrients than meats and fish. However, you can find these items in a store where dietary supplements are available.

What other types of activities can make you grow taller?

Jogging, running, sprinting, swimming, sports, and all kinds of physical activities make your hormonal system work and produce the chemicals necessary for growth. Unless you eat the right foods, your growth hormone production won’t do any good. Diet is the secret, the correct amino acids (building blocks of protein), and exercise will deliver the pending elements produced (growth hormones) to their much-needed hosts. During sleep is the ideal time to produce hormones, so eat right, stay fit, sleep strong, and watch out for the next article on how to grow taller naturally.

Myths Associated With Losing Weight and Loose Skin After Weight Loss

Losing Weight and Loose Skin

When I lost weight, loose skin after weight loss seemed to be one of the worst nightmares of my lifetime. I kept thinking about how I would get back my toned, shapely body. I had tried everything from laxatives, to crash diets, and even plastic surgery but to no avail. My problem was more than just a loss of weight. I was gaining too much body fat and flab.

It is amazing how an innocent question like “what does loose skin after weight loss due to your appearance” can cause so much frustration and anxiety. The main cause is lack of collagen and elastin production in your body. Collagen and elastin are two important skin proteins that keep your skin firm and supple. When you lose lean muscle tissue, you reduce the tightness of your skin. When you gain muscle, your skin actually fills out more than it did when you were thin.

So what does this have to do with nutrition? You may not realize it, but your diet plays a vital role in keeping your skin firm and supple. Your diet is just as much a factor in losing weight as it is a factor in regaining it. And if your goal is to lose weight, then your diet should be high in proteins and low in carbohydrates and calories.

Myths Associated With Losing Weight and Loose Skin After Weight Loss

There is a lot of misinformation surrounding losing weight and losing skin. Some people think that you need to cut out all carbohydrates until all of the fat has melted away. But there is nothing necessarily wrong with consuming carbs. As a matter of fact, carbs can actually help your body break down the stubborn fat faster. If you eat enough carbs, your metabolism will increase causing you to burn more fat even when you are at rest.

Check more updates Here: https://www.insightsoflife.com

Another common myth is that collagen won’t go into your body until all of the fat has melted away. However, collagen is made from fats and you can still absorb some of it when you lose weight. In fact, researchers have found that collagen can actually be absorbed by your body even during your exercise routine. So don’t believe everything you read; you CAN still have loose skin even when you are losing weight.

The final myth to be tackled is that you can’t get rid of wrinkles and loose skin caused by sun exposure. This simply isn’t true! In fact, it has been proven that collagen and elastin can be produced even during sun exposure. However, it would be impossible for your body to make as much as you would when you are thinner. So don’t listen to those experts who claim otherwise.

Astrology doesn’t deserve a bad reputation!

What gives astrology a bad reputation? One of the main reasons is that the Sun no longer moves through the same constellation band of the Zodiac as more than 2,500 years ago. It was then that the constellations of the Zodiac received their names, marking the movement of the Sun at that time. Does that rule out astrology? I do not believe it. Don’t be so skeptical, give it a try.

The constellations of the zodiac

What we know about astrology, at least today, is that it originated in the 7th century BC. C. with the Babylonian astronomers from southern Iraq in the northern hemisphere. They divided the strip of sky that the Sun progressed in one Earth year (365.25 days) into twelve equal sections. Three sections were attributed to each of the four stations; Spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Where do the names of the zodiac come from?

These twelve sections were named after the ring of constellations that lined the sky through which the Sun moved. They are known as the Constellations of the Zodiac. The names were derived from Latin and the Greek zodiac which meant “circle of animals.”

When does the year of the zodiac start?

Section number one begins on the first day of spring, which is called the Vernal Equinox (in Latin, spring). All other dates in the zodiac change according to this moment. The following dates are set for 2009.

Spring The section is announced by the Vernal or Spring Equinox on March 20, 2009

1. Aries / The Ram / March 20-April 19

2. Taurus / El Toro / April 19 to May 20

3. Gemini / The Twins / May 20 to June 21

Summer The section is announced by the summer solstice on June 21, 2009.

4. Cancer / The Crab / June 21 to July 22

5. Leo / The Lion / July 22 to August 23

6. Virgo / The Virgin / August 23 to September 22

Fall The section is proclaimed by the autumnal equinox on September 22, 2009.

7. Libra / The Scales / September 22 to October 23

8. Scorpio / The scorpion or the eagle / October 23 to November 22

9. Sagittarius / Centaur or the archer / November 22 to December 21

Winter The section is declared by the winter solstice on December 21, 2009.

10. Capricorn / The Goat / December 21 to January 20

11. Aquarius / The Water Carrier / January 20-February 18

12. Pisces / The Fishes / February 18 to March 20 (Spring Equinox)

Not all constellations are the same

This is where Astrology gets a bad rap. He is accused of not being a scientist. Note that I said that each of the twelve equal sections is named after one of these constellations. I did not say that the Sun moved through each of these constellations equally or through any constellation, even in 30.43 days. For example, what we now know is that the constellation Aries is classified in size as number 39 of the 88 constellations discovered today. Virgo is ranked number 2. The Sun did not adjust its movements to go very slow through Section 1 or Aries and then accelerate through Section 9 or Virgo in 30.43 days as well.

The earth was flat

We have learned a lot since then. For example, at that time the Earth looked flat. The Earth did not move, much less revolved around the Sun. Venus was thought to be two stars, one in the morning and one at night.

The sun keeps moving east

The Sun does not repeat the same path in the sky when the Earth begins its new year of revolving around it. The Sun continues to move eastward in its revolution around the center of the Milky Way. In fact, the Sun is now progressing through the Constellation Pisces instead of the Constellation Aries more than 2500 years ago.

However, the strip of sky through which the Sun travels in our Earth year is roughly the same distance, still divided into the twelve sections that maintain the same Zodiac names.

Sun signs and seasons

A person born during the time the Sun passes through one of these sections is called a sun sign. For example, someone born under Section 1 would have the sun sign Aries the Ram.

It is not surprising that each of these sections and the people born during those times have characteristics and modes of expression that are very much aligned with the seasons themselves. For example, someone born in the first section, an Aries sun sign leads the way, always pioneering new beginnings.

Why not have it all?

Why not learn to accept and develop the characteristics of each of these sections or signs as the Sun travels through them? Why should you get stuck on a single signal? It is like saying: “I was born in spring and I just want to embrace the energies of spring and develop its characteristics. Forget about summer, fall and winter! I do not want to do different activities, develop other qualities or modes of expression.” “Why not have it all?

Develop yourself naturally

Why not develop in a structured way that is aligned with nature itself? So you don’t have to learn from one crisis after another. Instead, let a cosmic tailwind speed you on your way, doing what comes natural to you.

Never boring, always something new

What keeps it attractive and never boring? The rotation of the Earth is the same every year around the Sun, so there is similarity in the characteristics of these twelve sections. However, as the Sun constantly advances through a new band in the heavens, there is also novelty within each of these twelve annual divisions. That will keep you on your toes, just when you think you have it, there is something new to stimulate you.

Sentinel Review Websites – What are they and how do they work?

Review websites were originally designed to give users the ability to browse all the different products in a market and use the experience of the author to make the right decision (for them).

The problem with review sites is that they were intrinsically linked to lower levels of marketing, usually to get a ranking on Google.

While there was nothing wrong with this, various updates to the system algorithm and changes in consumer demand (usually focused on social media), many ‘thin affiliate’ websites were removed from the various search results ( removing its value).

Remember, no matter how good something is, if people can’t see, use or benefit from it, it has no “use” value. This doesn’t really worry most people (anyone who sees this as a startup doesn’t have to worry about it); however, it should highlight the reason why the “sentinel” review site strategy was created …

Sentinel review sites are a “new” generation of review sites – designed around authenticity. In other words, instead of producing a faceless “me too” website, they have really good content, with your face and real name on it. They * should * be good at attracting users from the various “social” communities that exist now.

The underlying “model” remains the same, but the way it is created is different. The difference lies in the way the information is presented and how it is interconnected to the user. Rather than being “static” content, Sentinel’s goal was to create a flexible system that allows people to offer an underlying SERVICE through its web-based application.

The point here is that you are essentially moving away from “static” HTML websites (which would normally have the mandatory “reviews” table and multiple pages of content), to a functional application, populated with reviews when appropriate.

The “sentinel” method essentially allows you to eliminate any of the potential problems that could be preventing a “review” website from delivering value. By replacing structure with functionality, you are basically allowing users to make their own choice about which services they want to use, without having a lot of hassle with the system itself.

One of the most relevant examples of an effective “sentinel” review site is PCPartPicker. This is a system that helps users to manage new PC builds.

While it is not a “traditional” review site in the sense of giving users the ability to measure the effectiveness of different products / vendors, it * does * give you a valid way to manage the various companies you may want to to buy. This nondescript nature of the system is what makes the “sentinel” strategy effective.

Grilling Tips: What You Should Know Before Grilling Mahi Mahi

The Mahi Mahi is becoming increasingly popular as a trophy fish sought after and caught by sport fishermen around the world. This particular fish is often found in the warmer waters of the Gulf Coast, Hawaii, and off the coasts of South America. With its growing popularity, it can often be found served in many restaurants or in the fresh seafood boxes of many grocery stores.

Sometimes called “dolphin fish” (although not related to the mammalian dolphin in any way), the mahi mahi, when properly filleted, produces thick and dense pinkish white fillets that are well suited for cooking on a charcoal or gas grill. . Served with roasted potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, and asparagus, it’s a meal you or your guests won’t soon forget!

There are many ways to grill Mahi Mahi and we will discuss a few here. Some of these methods include:

  • Direct heat
  • Indirect heat
  • Cedar planks
  • Aluminum foil packages

Let’s start with Direct Vs. Indirect Heat first.

In a direct heat method, the food being cooked is placed directly over the coals or the burner lit on a gas grill. This method produces scorching heat that often blackens the exterior of the meat, and while it is very good for a steak, it is not really the preferred method for Mahi Mahi.

When using an indirect heat method, the grill (charcoal or gas) is preheated and the embers are placed on one side for charcoal grills or with gas grills, one side of the grill is turned off. The item being cooked, in this case fish, is placed on the side of the grill opposite the burner or hot embers, allowing for slower and more even cooking. With either of these methods, it is important to ensure that the grill grates are clean of any old food or char build-up and that they are well coated with olive oil or specially formulated cooking spray for the grill to prevent the fish sticking.

Cedar plank method

This is one of our favorite methods of cooking almost any dense fish fillet like salmon, red drum, or mahi mahi. Cedar grill planks can be found in most grocery stores or even major retail chains like WalMart and Home Depot. These thin planks of raw cedar add an exceptional sweet smoky flavor to any fish that is cooked on them. Just be sure to soak the boards in water for at least 4 hours before using them. When you’re ready to grill your fish, place the board on a preheated grill (medium to medium-high heat is best) and place the prepared fish fillet directly on the board. Flipping the fish is usually not necessary, but you can if you wish. With this cooking method, a simple seasoning of the fillets with a mixture of spices like Old Bay and a small splash of lemon juice is all that is needed to prepare the fish for grilling.

Aluminum foil package method

In this method, the Mahi Mahi is seasoned and wrapped in aluminum foil and then placed over direct indirect or moderate heat. Most often, the fish is topped with lemon wedges, diced tomatoes, onions, and chopped olives before sealing the foil package. This method helps retain the juices and produces a very tasty meal!

Three steps to killing fleas or being eaten alive

You have pets in your house? Are fleas eating you alive? These usually appear as itchy red bumps on the skin. Do you know how to stop this?

The climate has changed and southern California is hot. Now is the time for those little creatures called fleas to start turning into a pest. Fleas do not stay in a room in your house. They live and reproduce in every room in your home.

If you have a dog or a cat or many dogs and cats, you are a feast for these little critters.

The best way to jump on them is to fight them with a

3 STEP PROGRAM.

STEP 1 – SPRAY YOUR HOME

(1) You can buy aerosol cans that spray the flea remover in an upward direction at almost any store.

(2) Buy one for every room in your house, including hallways and kitchen.

Note: Store all food or anything you don’t want flea spray in closets.

(3) Securely close all exterior doors and windows.

(4) Walk around your house and place all the flea spray cans starting at the back and ending at the outside door.

(5) Try not to breathe until you are safe outside or wear a mask.

(6) After spraying is done, leave the house closed for a good three hours or whatever the instructions on the can say.

(7) Next, vacuum up dead eggs, so vacuum up all carpets, furniture, and curtains.

(8) Wash all bedding that was sprayed on and has flea eggs.

STEP 2 – SPRAY YOUR YARD

(1) Spray your garden while the house is closed and free of live fleas.

(2) There are many types of flea sprays to choose from. Some can be attached to the hose and sprayed.

(3) Another option is to have a pest control company come out weekly or twice a month to spray your garden.

Note: Your pets should not be in the house or yard during spraying.

(4) When you return home, leave the doors open and open all windows immediately.

(5) Discard all used flea spray cans.

STEP 3 – BATHE YOUR PETS

(1) The third step is to bathe all your pets in the bathtub or outdoors.

(2) Another option is to take them to the animal beauty salon.

DO ALL THESE 3 STEPS ON THE SAME DAY:

The main idea is to do all three steps on the same day. This way, your home will be flea-free for approximately seven days.

REPEAT THE 3 STEPS AGAIN IN 7 DAYS.

After the seventh day, all the flea eggs will have hatched and you will need to start the 3-step process again.

There are wonderful flea collars and other products on the market for your pets that work wonders to keep fleas away.

When you have a pet and you don’t want to turn into a flea dinner, this is the 3 step program that will work.

Repeat the 3 steps as many times as necessary.
