My experience with the Nokia N95

I have had the Nokia N95 for about a year now and I love it!

Here is a brief review of my experiences:

Battery duration

It wasn’t great at first, but I had to recharge and recharge every day for about 3 weeks before it gave about 3 days of normal use, but heavy use with the camera, mp3 player, and some browsing lasted only one day. , so be sure to take an extra battery if you are going to be away from a power source for more than a day.

Screen quality

The screen quality is excellent. 320 x 240 pixels and a 262k color screen is sharp and viewable for movies. Keep in mind that you will have to convert movies to MP4 format, and there are plenty of software available to do it for you.

Keyboard

The keys are nice and easy to use, except for the navigation pad which may seem a bit unresponsive for gaming, however there are 13 keys together!

User interface

A very easy to use user interface, with bold glossy icons when you press the menu key. You can also move folder icons and place your most visited icons in the main menu or on the home screen.

Gps

The built-in GPS is a bit disappointing as it takes too long to receive a signal. I had more luck buying a bluetooth GPS receiver and using third party GPS software, such as Tom Tom Mobile.

Bluetooth

Fairly standard and A2DP compliant, which means you can listen to music through a suitable pair of bluetooth headphones.

Conclution:

A great little computer phone that has lasted me 1 year and still works. It does everything I want it to do for mobile and more! I would recommend to anyone, even after a year, to go and get one, but keep in mind that the battery life is not great, but the device itself is brilliant!

Here are the specs:

This book is written especially for soccer fans of any level

One of the funniest books I’ve read in a long time definitely answers the question every soccer fan wants to know: Which soccer team is the greatest of all time?

That question is definitely answered in Damalis Bryant’s book, “All-Time NFL Dream Showdown – Fantasy Showdowns and Realistic Results.“I will not spoil the book for you by revealing the ending, but I will say that the author does a fantastic job selecting great players, coaches and teams and creating fascinating, animated fantasy encounters from the greatest of the greats.

Bryant, a young soldier with a fighting season in Afghanistan, selected the 13 best NFL teams of all time and pitted them against each other in fantasy playoff games that result in the best Super Bowl of all time. Each section describes the key plays, runs, and leading competition changes between 13 of the best teams in an NFL season.

A former sports writer in Virginia before beginning his military career, Bryant has the professional skills and knowledge to pull off what he’s trying to do as an author: narrating fantasy contests based on actual styles, talents, and strategies.

While serving in Mannheim, Germany, Army Specialist Bryant wrote drafts of an NBA fantasy book and heavyweight boxing fantasy book and completed the NFL fantasy book during his off hours in Afghanistan.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from the early introduction of the Hall of Fame greats to the final whistle when the Super Bowl All-Time Champion is revealed. And I will not dispute the author’s choice! Anyone with an interest in soccer will also enjoy this wonderful book.

8-8-08 Wedding destinations

Remember the frenzy that surrounded the date of July 7, 2007 last year? Couples lined up in wedding chapels in Las Vegas to get married on that date because the number 7-7-07 was considered a lucky date for many couples. But if you and your fiancĂ© missed that date, don’t despair, because on August 8, 2008, you will have another chance to get married on a “lucky” day.

While number 7 is considered lucky in Western cultures, number 8 is considered very lucky in Chinese cultures, and that lucky state will likely extend to the non-Chinese wedding market as well, as couples look for a day of ” luck “in which to start a new life together.

While the number 8 is considered lucky in Chinese cultures, a wedding on 8-8-08 has another element of luck: it is a Friday, and weddings on Fridays are usually cheaper than weddings on weekends. Thus, you will be able to get your lucky wedding date and save money at the same time.

8-8-08 Wedding destinations:

Since 8-8-08 is considered a lucky number, Las Vegas will almost certainly be overrun with couples wanting a 8-8-08 wedding. There are numerous wedding chapels and self service chapels where you can get married quickly and without much planning. To really highlight the luck of the day, you may want to get married in a casino’s wedding chapel.

Of course, Las Vegas is not the only place where Lady Luck resides. You may want to consider Monte Carlo, the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City, or one of the boat casinos along the Mississippi River.

Another creative 8-8-08 wedding option would be a wedding or honeymoon at a hotel located at an “888 lucky” address. Two interesting options come to mind:

Admiral Fell Inn

Historic Fell Point

888 South Broadway

Baltimore MD

410-522-7380

The historic Admiral Fell Inn is located in Baltimore’s most historic neighborhood, and not far from the Inner Harbor. Originally built in 1860, the Admiral Fell Inn has been recently renovated and has been named the “Best Place to Stay in Baltimore by Philadelphia Style Magazine and one of the” 20 Best Historic Hotels “by AirTran Airways Inflight Magazine.

A stay at the Admiral Fell Inn not only gives you an 888 address for your 8-8-08 wedding, it also includes some ghosts to liven up your wedding. You can learn about Admiral Fell’s ghosts at Admiral’s Tea or take a ghost tour of the inn. On Fridays and Saturdays you can even participate in a Ghost Sing-a-Long.

For those couples who choose to celebrate their wedding on 8-8-08 at the Admiral Fell Inn, there are many venues inside and outside the Inn to choose from: The Admiral Ballroom, located on the top floor, offers views of the Baltimore skyline and accommodates up to 150 guests; the Memory Garden, suitable for more intimate weddings of up to 30 guests; or the Bond Street Pier at Fell’s Point, which seats 150 guests.

Wyndham palm springs

888 East Tahquitz Canyon Way

Palm Springs, CA

877-999-3223

Another 888 “lucky” wedding venue is the Wyndham Palm Springs, a desert resort offering spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The Wyndham is located just 3 blocks from Palm Canyon Drive where you will find great shopping and great restaurants. Of course, one caveat is that 8-8-08 is a particularly hot time of year in Palm Springs, so you’ll need to be prepared for the heat. On the other hand, summer rates are usually much cheaper than at other times of the year, so you may be even more lucky and receive a great offer. Ceremonies take place on the patio by the Oasis pool or in its grand ballroom.

One way to beat the Palm Springs heat in August would be to take the nearby Palm Springs Cable Car 2-1 / 2 miles up to the San Jacinto Mountains overlooking Palm Springs, where you can enjoy 54 miles of hiking trails as well as Dine at the Peaks restaurant, to enjoy good food and a breathtaking view of the desert.

For the more budget conscious, you may also consider an elopement ceremony followed by a honeymoon stay at the Super 8 Motel at 888 S. Main in Fort Bragg, California, or at the Comfort Suites Marina at 888 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside, California.

No matter your destination, be it a Las Vegas casino chapel, a venue at 888 address, or even your own backyard, those planning a wedding on August 8, 2008 should remember to reserve venues and services. The wedding in advance, like 8-8-08 should be a very busy time for weddings.

3 Ways to Make Boring ELearning Content Fun

Let’s say you have boring content, but important.

It’s dry and not inherently interesting … and there’s a lot.

You try to do something fun, but it immediately dissolves into deathly nonsense over PowerPoint.

What is your job?

First, I would get rid of those assumptions.

There is no such thing as boring content, because “boring” is not a real thing. Boredom is a reaction to something that someone is not attracted to.

Nothing in this world is boring for everyone.

That means there is someone who will find your content funny.

Does that help you if most people find it boring? Maybe not, but it will keep you from seeing it as a hopeless uphill battle.

The problem is not in the subject or in the details that you have to teach.

It is in the delivery.

Fortunately, there are three easy ways to make your eLearning more engaging … no matter how tedious your students expect it to be.

You can incorporate them into any course, even if it is as low-tech as a text-only forum.

It won’t add much (if any) to the time it takes to deliver.

And it will make your course work for your students.

It sounds too good to be true?

As always, there is a catch: it may take deep thought and a bit of work to implement them.

Ok, here we go:

The first and least powerful of the three is contrast.

All the best course designers know that throwing a wall of text at their students is a mistake.

But sometimes you have a lot of content that you want to broadcast.

If you have to use this approach and can’t think of a way around it, change what your students watch.

After a wall of text, the next slide / page / whatever could be a simple diagram.

Or a graph.

Or a graph, a table (without too many words) or a meme.

If each slide looks different, you can keep your readers interested, even while bombarding them with a wealth of information.

Like I said, this is the weakest approach of the three … but it sure beats giving them nothing but endless paragraphs to read.

In approach # 2:

If you hate your content, you might be tempted to say something like:

“I know it’s Friday and I’m very sorry about this, but I have to read the textbook. It will be boring, but in order to certify you, I will have to cover all these points. Sorry.”

That’s why I told you to stop thinking that your content is boring. This gruesome delivery doesn’t help anyone.

Instead you could say:

“Welcome to the best part of the week, everyone! You have your textbooks in front of you, which have all the answers you will need in the future. Today, I’m going to go over some of the parts that are most relevant to you. And who knows , We could finish early and have a head start on the weekend! “

Same content, big difference.

So the second approach involves enthusiasm.

How do you excite your dog?

Speaking of your favorite treats, that is, are you focused on content?

No, you could talk about anything with enthusiasm and they will like it.

I am not saying that your students are as intelligent as dogs. But humans and dogs get bored or interested in the same way as others. If something doesn’t arouse emotions in you, it’s clearly not worth paying attention to.

Do your students a favor and show some passion.

Focus n. 3:

I’m sure you know the forgetting curve: that graph that shows that a week after your course, your students will forget 90% of what you told them.

That research is true, but it is not the full story.

To test that, the researchers had people memorize dry facts, usually a list of random words.

But not all content is the same.

The stories are very memorable.

They are more attractive to the brain and help students to contextualize information. When you analyze a case study of how someone used what you are teaching them to earn a billion dollars, they are better able to remember and apply what you tell them.

Case studies, war stories, anecdotes – any of these will make your material fun and memorable.

I don’t care if you only teach via Twitter – you can use these three approaches to make even the most boring content fun.

Super Mario Bros game for the classic NES

You will have to think fast and move even faster to complete this classic mission! The Mushroom Princess is held captive by the evil Koopa turtle tribe. It is up to you to rescue her from the clutches of King Koopa before time runs out. But it won’t be easy. To get to the princess, you will have to climb mountains, cross seas, avoid bottomless pits, fight against turtle soldiers and a series of nasty traps that only a Koopa King can change. It’s another SUPER MARIO BROS adventure!

Super Mario Bros was the first game to be released for the NES in 1985. It was the first game to offer effective levels of smooth scrolling with a well done map. Super Mario Brothers is currently the best-selling video game of all time. You can play it on the NES, Famicom, SNES, GBA, and recently on Wii. Believe me all, this game is a true blast from the past and still entertains us today. Mario was the first true video game character and he will stand up and shoot anyone else who tries to take his place. It will always be great in the video game industry due to the great impact of this game.

The history of the games:

Many say that the story of this game is horrible and it is a huge downfall of the game. I mean it’s like any other game where a princess is captured and you need to save her. The true basic plot of the game is that Bowser has unleashed a wicked spell on the Mushroom Kingdom. The only ones who can save the princess and break this evil spell are Mario and Luigi.

Well, this game was pretty much the first game to start those generic storylines. But honestly, what’s not to love about the classic Mario saving Princess Peach from the Bowser story? NOTHING, it’s a simple and compelling story. I’m sure the story doesn’t deserve a high rank because at the time the game came out, the story was very unknown and it probably sounded a bit cheesy. But today, we all meet our friendly plumber hero, MARIO.

How to Play:

This game is incredibly fun to play. The objective of the game is to complete each level by running to the end of the level and jumping as high as possible towards the flag. You will meet many famous enemies like Goombas, Koopas, Piranha Plants and many more. There are coins scattered throughout the game in random areas and hidden in blocks that you must break. Once you get 100 coins, you get an extra life.

You get a score for the number of enemies you kill, the number of coins you snatch, and for other reasons. Each level is unique and has different obstacles on each one and is a blast to play. There are 8 worlds with normally 4 stages in each world. The game is great because it has multiple hidden secrets throughout the game that keep the fun coming. There are even secret negative worlds and warp tubes that give the game a great twist.

The game also mixes in some mazes to give you a little challenge. You can also play with 2 players where you can play as Mario and Luigi and defeat the evil King Koopa. The few downsides are that the game is not very long, the screen scrolls and it becomes frustrating. If you play fast enough, you could beat all the levels in about 30 minutes.

You cannot go back once you advance one level. The game is frustrating because you can’t even save and there is no continuation (you can use a code to start from the world you lost in). The game screen just scrolls in the right direction. It would easily give Super Mario Bros gameplay a 10/10 if there were at least more levels per world.

Of course, you can’t take on those levels just like you and yourself, so you have a few things you can find to help you out. First of all, there are the power-ups that you can find in blocks throughout the game. The first one you will get is the Super Mushroom, and by getting this Mario it will grow to double in size (Super Mario!) And you can take an additional hit from an enemy (and return to normal Mario) before losing a life.

Like Super Mario, you also have the ability to break normal brick blocks that you come across, this can prove extremely useful in a number of ways, be it by finding a secret block or just taking a safe route. If you discover a power-up while you are Super Mario, it will be a fire flower, which will not allow you to take more hits but gives you the extremely useful power of launching fireballs. Fireballs can kill enemies in one hit, and while the same can be accomplished by jumping on the heads of most enemies, it is much easier to launch a fireball from a distance and knock out enemies from a distance. safe. As long as you can maintain the fire ability, you will be quite overpowered.

Besides that, you can also collect 1Up mushrooms, which will grant you an extra life and coins. Coins are collectibles that will give you an extra life by collecting 100 of them, then the counter will reverse so you can collect an additional 100, and so on. All things in the game; coins, power-ups, completing a level, defeating an enemy are added to a score.

This score is a leftover from arcade games, and it won’t really be used for anything, since the highest score is removed when you turn off the console, there will be no competition for it. Not having a save feature might sound bad, but as mentioned, the levels can be completed quite quickly and there is always someone who will know the secret warp zones.

Speaking of secrets, that’s a cool thing about this game. While many other NES games show you just about everything, here are plenty of invisible blocks with power-ups or coins, pipes you can enter to get to underground coin collections, and sometimes a creeper will shoot out of a hit block when that you can climb. Get up to “coin heaven”. Something funny about all these secrets is that some of them are out in the open, others are on a block of bricks that you never thought of getting right.

There are so many blocks scattered in each level, and only the blocks with the question mark contain anything, that you would never have time to try to destroy all the normal brick blocks. The great thing about all of this is that you can play the game so many times and still discover something you didn’t know. The amount of secret stuff is a very likely factor as to why the game has great replayability.

Graphics:

The graphics in this game are wonderful for the time. To tell you the truth, I am still completely satisfied with the graphics of today’s games. Even though Mario and Luigi have a bit of discoloration and it’s a bit blocky, it gives you the authentic warm welcome to know that it’s the first Mario game.

The backgrounds might just be a blue sky with the occasional green bush or cloud, but that’s all that was needed. It means that it is very easy to see objects in the foreground like the bricks you can hit or the enemies you face. There is nothing you can complain about with these graphics and especially when the game came out they were great. .

Dream:

The sound is great. I mean it’s not annoying like most NES games and it was the beginning of classic “do, do, do, do …” music. The game has different music for each type of level, such as dungeons, underwater levels, and land levels. All if it is enjoyable and makes the game even better. The only downside is that the sound effects are a bit boring, but I really shouldn’t complain. Overall, it’s the classy theme song that makes me like the game’s music so much.

Another cool thing is that the music is a bit context sensitive, which means that if you let the time go down to less than 100 seconds remaining, the music will speed up to let you know to hurry. Also, if you collect a star (element of invincibility), the music will switch to another theme that will last almost exactly until the power is depleted, a great audio cue to know when to start worrying about your enemies again. The sound effects in the game are also good, they are not too complicated and the jingles that sound are great to make you feel satisfied when completing a task or taking a power-up.

Control S:

This game is basically a collect and play game. The control design is so simple but so good. The game perfectly records all movements. You keep going and Mario definitely moves on. Many NES games couldn’t perfect this, but this game definitely did. You can run and jump and you will learn the tricks on how to achieve the greatest jumping distance and basic skills in no time. The simple and sweet NES controller played great with this game and the game did all the commands perfectly.

The NES control panel isn’t really the most advanced piece of hardware out there, but in this game you’ll never feel like it’s missing anything. The D-pad is used to move left and right, and with a downward pressure you can duck, which also results in the pipes going down if they are “open.”

Button A is used for jumping and is quite responsive; a short press results in a low jump and a longer press results in a higher jump. The B button has two purposes: to launch fireballs if you have that power, and it is also the execute button. It works better than you think, because if you’re running and want to launch a fireball, you can quickly release the button and then hold it down again to fire one, without losing much speed.

Repetition value:

This is the strong point of the games. I can’t even count how many times I’ve beaten this incredible classic. Makes you come back for more. It is a simple game that is absolutely fun to play. You can try to beat your previous score. You can play with 2 players to cheer it up with a friend or you can try a time trail and test the record. Or if you like me, you can win it again just for the great feeling of beating the endless classic. This game is the one that started it all. That makes the game that much more satisfying.

Difficulty:

It is really quite resistant without deformation and with the use of the cartridge, so it cannot be stored. I mean, my friends were saying, yeah, it’s Super Mario Bros. I’ve beaten it a thousand times. And they came and lost in world 5. It is not impossible, but I want to say that it is a challenge. I’d say it has a perfect difficulty. It’s not so difficult that you never want to try to get over it, but easy enough to make it enjoyable, which is a very good balance.

Final thoughts:

Overall, I love the Super Mario Bros game. A true classic NES game that has stood the test of time, it may not be the best game in the whole world simply because of how it plays as a game on its own, but because of the fact that it revolutionized the home game scene the moment it appeared. As well as being very popular with any retro gamer and even greatly enjoyed by current generation players, it explains why I find this game still so much fun.

Every aspect is designed to achieve perfection, if not complete. It shows how well Nintendo worked with the capabilities of the NES to make a game that was fun, simple, memorable, played well and offered a good challenge, had a variety of different stages that were approached in different ways, but it wasn’t that long. . since it could not be beaten in a single stage. It’s a classic side scrolling game at its finest, and the influence on future platformers of not just the same genre, the same console, or even the same series has been evident throughout the centuries.

Select Network Marketing and select a good MLM company to work for

These are the good criteria and checkpoints for selecting network marketing, selecting a good MLM company and what kind.

of a good MLM company to work for to be successful in network marketing.

It seems like almost everyone is jumping on the network marketing bandwagon due to the success of some

major players like Amway, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Herbalife, Fuller Brush, Watkins, and dozens of lesser-known companies

companies. Regardless of whether it’s a big-name gamer or a new kid from the neighborhood, there are a few things you need to know, so let’s get to that.

Okay, now let’s take a closer look at the chicken that laid the eggs to see if it can really lay the golden eggs they all promise. LINE.

REALITY CHECK

In a typical network marketing plan, in order for YOU to earn bigger commissions (the vast majority of people who join rarely reach expenses, let alone get commissions with all the monthly fees you pay), you must

recruit other people into the program. Whoever signs up becomes part of your DOWN LINE and stays one level below you.

If you think it’s “good enough” or just want to get your feet wet to see for yourself, the first thing to do is decide if that great sounding offer you’re thinking of is really true multi-level marketing. plan with a real product to sell, or just a dirty little plan trying to sell you “quick money” by simply selling the program to others. It’s pretty easy to spot a phony. Here are some quick tests that should help you decide. If the MLM offer you are considering cannot give credible answers to these crucial questions, tell the promoter to take a walk!

1. Does the sales literature contain a detailed description of your products or services, or just countless references to how easily and quickly you can make money with little work or commitment?

Careful! If the products or services are only mentioned as an afterthought, you’re looking for trouble if anything. The program is probably designed just to drive dealerships, endorsements, distributors, or whatever term is used. Everything is made with smoke and mirrors. There is no substance. How can it work? Sooner or later it will fail!

2. Does the MLM offer products or services that the public needs and wants?

This is a trick question. Think about it. Is there really a demand for what you are going to offer? Best of luck if you are stuck with something that doesn’t generate repeat business. It’s the lifeblood needed to generate the commissions you entered the plan for in the first place!

3. Can similar products be found in retail stores or can they be obtained through mail order at roughly the same price?

Your commissions and bonuses, if any, are based on patronage from people who can fulfill orders. When you have a good product, that’s what makes you money. Even if you have a good product, if it can be bought through the usual retail channels, ask yourself why people are going to buy from you.

4. Can you generate repeat sales?

If the company has a reputation for quality products, it should be able to generate repeat business, build and maintain its downline. That is what is needed for any successful MLM plan.

DID YOU DECIDE THAT THE MLM PLAN YOU ARE THINKING OF IS OK? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL!

1. A quality product or service.

2. A successful attitude. You must live, think, speak, dream successfully. All day. Daily. Without exceptions. To sell. To sell. To sell.

3 Believe in yourself and the company you work for.

4 Have a realistic goal. Don’t aim too high, but you have to motivate yourself.

5. Discipline. You will never be successful if you only work on it when you feel like it! Come back and read article # 2 again!

6. Find prospects. If you don’t know how, you will never get past first base!

7. You must like people. It is difficult to be a good salesperson if you are not; And that’s what you have to be Good seller!

8 Close the sale. You may have the best product, an eager customer with money to spend, but if you can’t order and get that order, the world’s best sales presentation won’t do you any good! To be successful in MLM, you have to be a really good salesperson!

9. Need to Repeat Sales. More repeat sales and even more repeat sales.

10. Recruit new distributors and / or distributors.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT MLM PROJECTIONS AND MONEY BACK GUARANTEES

One of the best ways to detect potential fraud is to promise a substantial “guarantee”, if at least not

earn $ 100,000 or some other arbitrary high figure with your program in your first year. Honest companies cannot make such an offer, or they are not telling you the whole story!

Read the fine print. To collect on the guarantee, you probably have to meet a few small requirements. Like paying off a year’s worth of debt monthly, provide proof that you distributed 25,000 brochures or that you have at least 10 people in your downline.

SOME OTHER THINGS TO LOOK FOR …

– A company with a proven track record in business for several years. MLM companies have a strange habit of folding their store with little to no warning! Don’t get stuck holding the bag!

– Several product lines. NO door to door sales. That is a big hurdle. If the product can be sold through a simple advertisement or catalog, it will wear out much less and out of stock will be slower.

– Small initial investment. Don’t spend a lot of money buying sample kits, etc.

– Proven earning potential. Talk to several successful members who are already participating in the program.

NETWORK MARKETING PLANS AND THE PYRAMIDS IN EGYPT

It is really the best illustration to visualize what is required if a network marketing plan is going to generate the promised money. Pyramids built centuries ago in the distant desert sands of the Middle East have layer after layer of huge blocks stacked on top of each other to support the enormous weight of the immense structures.

Unlike the Egyptian pyramids that are already “finished”, a successful MLM program must continue to grow. Not from above, but from below, adding an ever-increasing base to pay commissions to more and more people. If you can’t continue to recruit new people to join the plan to help support the growing structure, you’re running in your place while paying monthly fees for the privilege of trying! It’s like lifting the entire pyramid and adding a new row of blocks.

If you are having a hard time finding a really good network or MLM company, you can visit http://www.best-internet-businesses.com as we only provide the trustworthy network companies that provide you with good products, training and support, and help. people to grow their businesses.

Home Kitchen

An all-white kitchen is beautiful, not boring

Considering a quick and affordable kitchen makeover? Do you think it is boring and needs something to bring it to life? Why not use paint to beautify it? You can defy the rules of painting a kitchen area and choose an all-white kitchen. It sounds shocking because the kitchen is an area where water spills and food splashes are common. But, if you want to create a kitchen that stands out from other parts of your home, an all-white kitchen may be your solution. It can make the cooking area beautiful and sophisticated.

Why is an all-white kitchen the best option for you?

  • A timeless choice

When you are interested in a long-term kitchen makeover, white color stands out as the best option. It is because white is a universal color and it goes well with all types of kitchen styles such as country, vintage, modern, etc. The white color makes it easy to add other colors to the theme. Yellow cabinets, blue backsplash, or a black countertop – the color white complements it all.

  • A perfect illusion

If your home’s cooking area is small, you can make it appear larger than before with a touch of white. It will make the room feel airy and give you the opportunity to make the kitchen more cozy and beautiful. When you want to create the illusion of space, ask the painter to use white for cabinets, countertops, walls, and other surfaces as well.

  • The all-white kitchen is not boring

An all-white kitchen doesn’t have to be sterile like a hospital room. It can be elegant, sophisticated, and beautiful. Add texture to the kitchen and give it character. You can go for rough beams, wooden counters, tiled backsplashes, and quirky storage baskets. Here are some other ways to create an all-white cheery kitchen:

Rain-X Repel Vs Rain-X Latitude wiper blades

How a woman sees the Rain-X Repel versus the Rain-X Latitude

As a woman, it is often difficult to determine which wiper blades and size are best for my vehicle. I was attracted to the two popular Rain-X brands that fit my car and were available online. Determining the best alternative required a bit of research. Most manufacturers recommend that the wiper blades be replaced every year. It’s understandable if you live in a dry climate that the blades will certainly need to be replaced as they wear out and become brittle and inefficient. It would also be important that the installation of the wiper blades is simple and easy for a woman. Most importantly, I wanted something that would provide clear visibility during frequent rain and snow storms.

When comparing Rain-X Repel and Rain-X Latitude wipers, there appeared to be little difference in availability for most car makes and models. There was a price difference and a different technology that was used in the construction or operation of the windshield wiper blades. Below is a comparison of the characteristics of the two windscreen wiper blades:

Features of the Rain-X Repel wiper blade

Rain-X Repel windshield wipers use a new technology that provides clearer visibility when driving by using a proprietary coating that helps raindrops, snow and ice particles, as well as insects and mud to remove transferred from the sheet to the glass windshield.

Time Release Coating Technology is fast, typically a few minutes before droplets are produced, providing continuous visibility over many cleaning cycles. The special coating and curved blade design reduce wiper noise and provide clearer window visibility without scratches.

Rain-X Repel wiper blades are available for an extensive list of popular car models and a variety of makes from 1970 to the current year.

Rain-X Repel requires that you follow activation procedures by thoroughly cleaning windows prior to installation. At double the price, Rain-X Repel offers the same anti-scratch advantage as Rain-X Latitude. These blades don’t always rest on the windshield as they often lift off the surface in 60-70 mph winds, resulting in uneven wipes. With adjustment, the pressure on the windshield can be increased, resulting in wipes that constantly come into contact with the entire surface of the windshield.

Rain-X Latitude windshield wiper

Rain-X Latitude wipers are best known for their contoured design that glides evenly over the windshield and their graphite-coated rubber blades that provide noise-free cleaning action. They also replace standard style wiper blades and can be fitted with special adapters to accommodate use on eight different styles of wiper blade arms or 98% of vehicle wiper blade arms.

These blades offer easy installation modes, including small J-hook adapters or bayonet manifold adapter, larger J-hook, or side pin arm wiper arms. The blades are made with durable rubber-coated frames that withstand harsh weather conditions such as ice, snow, or wind.

The Rain-X Latitude wiper is also offered for the same year range (1970-2011) for many vehicle makes and models.

It seems that when making a decision, you may need to consider cost as an important factor, as well as ease of installation and emphasis on the quality of the wiper pressure to maintain consistent visibility. I’m guessing I’d select the Rain-X Latitude wiper blades which, based on most reviews online, seem to be more consistent and at half the price.

Life Size Cardboard Jokes

Jokes. You either love them or you hate them. For those of you who love them, a great accessory to use in various pranks is the life-size cardboard stands. They are excellent resources to use when looking for a good prank to make on a friend. Here are two prank ideas you can use with celebrity stand-ups or custom cutouts.

Edward Cullen’s vampire joke.

Things that scared you as a child will also scare you as an adult. For example, the dark. The feeling of discomfort you feel when the lights go out is the same as it was when you were a child. For this prank, take Edward Cullen’s life-size cardboard stand and place it in a dark space, preferably directly behind a door in someone’s home or office. Place it close enough to the door so that it won’t hit when it is opened. Another great location is behind a desk or curtain. Make sure to do this joke at night to enhance the effect. Also make sure to position the cutout out of their line of sight so they won’t immediately see it once they enter. The dark silhouette of Edward’s cardboard cutout will scare you like an intruder is in your space.

Custom Standup / Custom Cardboard Cutout Joke

Get a custom standup made by yourself. Ideally, you are the best friend, co-worker, family member, or someone very important to the person being pranked. The standup should be life-size and in identical clothing to what you will wear the same day you see your friend. Organize it so that there is a place where the person has to go in a hurry, that is, late for a movie, a big game, etc. After the person gets in the car, place the cutout behind him and put something small, like a large rock, that you can run over under the tire. Let them run over the cutout that is dressed as you and feel the shock of running over something small (like a leg). They will really freak out like anyone should. Don’t forget to scream! Have fun with it and get creative when using your cardboard cutout.
