Nightlife in Boca Raton
Boca Raton is a city that offers the best of everything. To experience this first-hand, hit the nightlife this weekend. There are plenty of great pre or post-dinner spots that will spark the conversation over a few late night drinks afterward.
Places to visit
The city offers good places to go before or after dinner. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray is the perfect place to stop for a walk before dinner. Otherwise, you can visit special events after dinner. Performances often begin at 6 p.m. and end around 7:30. Then you can head to the local bars and spend a few hours talking about what you saw there.
Another great place to go is Bear and Bird Boutique and Gallery in Lauderhill with uniform shows and exhibits. Starting out as a comic book store, the gallery is run by the Tate family, who have turned the store into a 6,000-square-foot “Mecca of Pop Culture.” It’s a great place to soak up the arts culture and have a little conversation with friends.
For those with more sophisticated tastes, try Boca Ballet Theater Company or the Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia. Symphonia events tend to be in the early afternoon, perfect for a pre-dinner activity. The ballet performances are perfectly timed for an after-dinner outing, usually starting at 7 or 8 pm.
Restaurants
In Boca Raton, you’ll find classic food restaurants dotted with quaint little spots along the way for a taste to suit any personality. Mizner Park offers several great places to eat, whether you want to find that little gem of a restaurant or the cutting edge of cuisine. You can also find some exceptional seafood in the western section of this coastal city. Boca Raton truly has everything you could want, from affordable cuisine to packed lunches. You will find restaurants to serve dinner food, a quick breakfast, Mexican, Italian, Southwestern and French dishes. You can even go out and have a glass of wine with your favorite cheeses or stop by a place specializing in salads and appetizers.
Drinks
When the night grows late, the city comes alive. Neighborhood pubs and bars abound. Whether you want to relax at the bar with a cold beer, a glass of pinot noir, or a classic martini, there is a place for you. Make a new friend or valuable business contact at one of the city’s beachside bars. Whether you just want to sit with your drink and enjoy the view or have a bite to eat with your drink, Del Ray and other nearby beaches have an attractive spot for you.
